"Why’d you get shot out? Is there something wrong?" Wudi had wanted to compare how much they sucked up.

Feiling and Moran didn't absorb too much, not even half a ton. Xiaoxiao, on the other hand, had absorbed a dozen or more tons. Why was there such a huge difference between them? Tianming's theory was that, while Feiling was also born in the Flameyellow Continent, her body was actually formed of Perpetia itself, so little of the Flameyellow Bloodline remained. Like Tianming, she had been rejected by the Flameyellow Coffin. Moran, on the other hand, was descended from divine wonderians despite growing up on the Sun, so her lineage had less to do with the descendants of the flameyellow divinities. Xiaoxiao, however, was a pureblood beastmaster born in the Flameyellow Continent, which showed that people of the Flameyellow Continent were considered descendants of flameyellow divinities as well. Tianming decided to use her as a benchmark for research.
"My talent hasn't obviously changed yet, but my bloodline and astrons must have changed. Even if I didn't get totems, I'll still benefit from it somehow!
