The appearance of a legendary item at such a critical moment had brought the despairing Dongshen clansmen so much joy they cried.
“Mount Taia’s Quintessence! It’s the will of Mount Taia and has existed for over a hundred million years!”
“The sacred mountain must’ve sensed our clan being oppressed, so it transformed the ancient relic into the Mount Taia Quintessence so we could be saved.”
“Thank you, divine mountain!”
By that point, the quintessence had absorbed so much blood that even Dongshen Zhuojun was a bit dizzy. The quintessence had changed shape into a palm-sized mountain. Tiny though it was, people could still feel the vastness of heaven and earth from it.
Dongshen Yang emotionally held it up and screamed into the sky, “Trashy ebon dogs! You plotted and wanted to wipe out my clan. Very well then, we’ll let you suffer the wrath of Mount Taia!”
The astralships above suddenly fired. The very world changed color, and even the black clouds in the sky were blasted away by the shockwaves. All the Dongshen clansmen could see was light and more light.
The ebon army and underground wildbeasts simultaneously launched their offensive!
“Mount Taia is a part of this star’s will. It has an eternal history!” All of the Dongshen clansmen held a deep reverence for their mountain. Under this barrage, they should have been crying in despair, but they simply held tight to the spiritual threads in their hands as their eyes shone with hope and fury that couldn’t be covered by the all-encompassing light!
“Mount Taia! Infinitum! Please protect your children!” Dongshen Yang’s voice was so loud it even passed through the formation to the outside.
The ebons outside who heard the plea were shocked as the formation they were attacking turned ten times brighter when Dongshen Yang connected the Mount Taia Quintessence to the formation core.
“Infinitum Taia!” The words represented the soul of the Grandnorth Dongshen Clan.
“I never expected that the item of our dreams would be delivered to us by our enemy!”
The wave of ebon attacks arrived. The thousand beams from the astralships were all of different thicknesses and fell like swords with the intent to pierce through the formation while the infinitum beastmasters led their warbeasts in wildly attacking. The underground wildbeasts used their bodies and corpses to divert the formation’s energy. Once the formation failed, these wildbeasts would tear open a gap and swarm in to butcher the lifebound beasts they hated.
The Dongshen Clan’s legacy hung in the balance at this moment. Many people couldn’t hold back their anger, unable to believe the ebons could be so vicious.
The ebons believed that at least half of the Dongshen Clan would be wiped out in the next moment.
Many people lost vision as light swallowed up everything. However, a furious voice shook like thunder through the battlefield. “The divine mountain rages. Die, thieves!”
Mount Taia shook like an awakening giant. The ebons and wildbeasts felt the tremor. Power surged through the mountain as it drew on a vast amount of Ebonia’s nova source energy. But it was a mountain! How could it use nova source like an astralship?
The so-called ‘experts’ who knew that couldn’t believe their eyes. They watched as every tree, rock, and grain of sand on Mount Taia glowed so bright they could compete with a moon. They all had nova source! Half of Ebonia was thrown into daytime as the mountain became visible from afar.
The mountain heated up and all of the wildbeasts underground, as well as the four billion Yin Chens, seemed to have been thrown into a furnace, all of them madly hopping around from the heat.
However, not even that could stop the three-pronged attack. The astralship beams couldn’t be taken back, and the infinitum beastmasters and underground wildbeasts couldn’t see the mountain’s full changes. The mountain that’d lit up had begun dimming down as all of the nova source quickly flowed toward the formation.
All of the power gathered together and qualitatively changed the formation. If it had been like the ‘sun’ before, now it was like Skyway Monostar as it shone two hundred times brighter than before. The Dongshen Scorching Sun Guard Formation had become much mightier just in time for the astralship attacks!
