There were many divine astralships above the Oldgod Domain, casting their bright lights across the whole area. Tianming could barely open his eyes.
"It's so bright. Am I back?" When he got used to it and looked around, he noticed that he was at the entrance of the Oldgod Domain. Ahead of him was a large group of black-robed elites! Hundreds of them cast their deathly gazes on him, applying pressure that could crush him. Yet he oddly didn't have much of a bodily reaction to that pressure. It felt like the pressure had dissipated through the countless 'holes' in his body.
They're all ebons! While he felt no pressure, he still felt the chill from their cold gazes. The one standing in the very front looked like a venomous silver snake. The silver soul eyes on his palms seemed utterly terrifying. He kept Tianming locked there with his soul domain. Where's Grandpa and Grandma? Didn’t they come to pick me up, or were they chased away?

He then turned toward Tianming and said, "Disciple Lin Feng, you killed ebon disciples using unsavory methods during the minor reges mundi ranking event and ruined the reputation of the Swordgod Lin Clan. The clan has decided to let the ebons handle your judgment."
His proclamation on behalf of the Lin Clan as a whole shocked many spectators into silence.
"This Lin Yun is truly shameless."
"What a pathetic dog...."
Chi Hun, the tenth rex mundi, levitated toward Tianming like a wraith without a word. He held his arm outstretched. It felt like the entire world was under his control, and Tianming wasn't able to move a single inch. With someone from the council making that judgment call, once Tianming was brought to the territory of the ebons, there was no way Lin Xiao would be able to get him back. All of it only had to be done before Yi Daiyan decided to interfere. It would be a miracle if she made a move to retrieve Tianming by going straight into ebon territory.
Things couldn't be any worse for Tianming. "Wait a second! I want to know what kind of rules I broke! You have to show proof!" But alas, no sound came out at all with Chi Hun there. The deathly stillness in the air had completely locked him down.
Chi Hun was the tenth rex mundi, in other words, the tenth most powerful person in the entire Infinitum Mundus. He didn't bother to listen to anything Tianming wanted to say, intent only on taking him away. Tianming couldn't even move his albi in the slightest as he faced down the most terrifying being he had met so far. He felt even more helpless than he had when he’d been caught by Gongshu Ding. The gap between their powers was as wide as the difference between a dragonfly and a towering, ancient tree! How could a dragonfly possibly shake a tree like that? Everyone knew that it was over for him. Lin Xiao and the others were still rushing out of the Oldgod Domain, but they wouldn't make it. "Give chase!" he yelled when he snapped out of it. "Something about him is odd. Don't use order, just directly bring him back."
The power difference was still there. Tianming didn't manage to go far before he was surrounded by middle-aged people who were far stronger than him.
"Do you think you can run?" A few of them charged toward him in an instant, pressing down on him with their hands. It hurt and he was subdued again!
"Hehehe...." They pulled Tianming back toward the divine astralship.
"He's really a goner this time."
Despite the odd turn of events, the result seemed unchanged to the spectators. Tianming was brought into an ether-class divine astralship without being able to say a word.
"It's over."
Chi Hun and the others also entered.
"Take off!" With a loud rumble, the black eyeball ship rose into the air.
Right then, Lin Xiao finally left the Oldgod Domain. The spectators pitifully watched him as he yelled, "Feng'er!"
There was nothing the others could do but sigh at the sight.
"It was all for nothing."
"Poor Second Patriarch.... He lost his son, now he's going to lose his grandson, too."
