Chapter 2376 - Eat Seafood
The hyenas were just delicacies to Xian Xian. Its Radiant Vines and black roots spread without any reservations. In the front, Lan Huang roared loud enough to shake the earth. If it weren’t for the illusion, the two could have gone head to head for a while. At the moment, though, Ying Huo could hardly see its opponent. It was at a complete disadvantage and dangers abounded as soon as the battle began.
Meow Meow wanted to use lightning to support Ying Huo, but it wasn’t sure where to strike. It would almost be too easy to accidentally injure its own teammates. Thus, Meow Meow had no choice but to join Lan Huang and Xian Xian in attacking opponents that the giant tree identified through its roots. These opponents often appeared as a building, a crowd of thousands, or even a boat.
"The world clam is amazing!" Only a sixth-level nova source world like Ebonia could produce such unimaginable nova wildbeasts. If a beast like it were to enter a heliacal-class world, it could create a dream world and turn a lifeless world into a flourishing one. Ebonia’s nova source could help them grow and preserve their strength.
"Yin Chen!" It was too chaotic. Tianming was forced to urge Yin Chen.

The world clam’s enormous size made it easy to locate. It was most likely concentrating on controlling the city and Yin Chen had found it in no time. Sure enough, the clam had to keep its shell open so the white mist could pour out to create the illusory city.

Behind it was a part of the Ghoulface Fiendblossom that formed a powerful torrent of flowers. In this illusory city, Ying Huo and the others were under scrutiny. With its abilities, Yin Chen was the only one that could approach the world clam without being noticed. Prior to Yin Chen’s infiltration, the clam had made sure to keep a distance from its opponents.
Yin Chen turned into countless locusts. Using the astonishing strength in their hind legs, the locusts moved quickly and jumped on the world clam.
"Eat!" The metal locusts were the best at that. Although the taste of the flesh was nauseating, it did what it had to do. If worse came to worst, it would spit it out. In addition to their combat power, the Primordial Chaos Beasts possessed special skills. Yin Chen’s innate abilities were mostly predicated on being ignored by others. Being able to locate the world clam was just one of its many functions.
In order to build the illusory city as quickly as possible, the clam’s shell was wide open as mist gushed out. A hundred million cockroaches turned into locusts and jumped into the shell, followed by Xian Xian’s Ghoulface Fiendblossoms and black roots. They expected to find tender and delicate flesh within.
"Attack!"
Countless silver locusts rushed into the depths of the white mist and soon came into contact with the clam’s soft body. Hooking the flesh with their long, sharp legs, they began to bite and burrow into it.

Tianming and his lifebound beasts were originally in a passive position when they were attacked by Shenxi Shang, the skydepths hyenas, world clam, and the dragonscale superfiend, but Yin Chen and Xian Xian’s teamwork had instantly turned things around.
The world clam let out a miserable scream. Although it was extremely powerful, it also had its weaknesses. In the face of an angry Yin Chen and Xian Xian, who was greedy for seafood, the world clam was devastated, even if the emotion lasted for just a moment. The shell closed with a bang that reverberated throughout the enclosed space. However, that short period was enough time for more than two hundred million Yin Chens to crawl in. Unfortunately, though, the shell had clamped down on Xian Xian’s black roots.
"Ahh!" Xian Xian cried out in pain. "How dare you! I’m going to chew you up. Nom, nom, nom!" Although the world clam had squeezed Xian Xian’s black roots, it’d failed to chop them off. The clam began to struggle and whip around, trying to break the roots, but they pierced into its flesh.
"Eat!" Xian Xian was a devil when it came to eating. "Yummy! So yummy and so fresh! Wow!" It yelled like a drunk. The terrifying thing about the Radix World Tree was that its wounded body could be restored by consuming meat, and the more it ate, the bigger and stronger it grew. It was similar to Yin Chen in that aspect. As soon as it began eating, the roots within the shell became thicker, branched out, and grew more spikes that pierced the world clam’s flesh. It had nothing to do with cultivation stages; Xian Xian clearly had a natural restraint on the clam. Before they had become lifebound beasts, the Primordial Chaos Beasts were perhaps the primogenitors of all wildbeasts.
The world clam screamed and struggled. To its surprise, the black roots grew longer and thicker, and pried its shell open just as it was about to break them. Amidst its screams, more roots burst in.
“So yummy!” The enormous green shell was a tragic sight as it writhed and squirmed on the ground.
As the world clam was suppressed, the city naturally disappeared. The entire spherical enclosed space was immediately visible.
Tianming finally saw Shenxi Shang.
