Chapter 2228 - Recon Bugs, Set Out

Two of the mountains in the mountain range below the Infinitum Stele shifted to the side, revealing an abyss. It was like a giant had suddenly opened its mouth. “The passage to the Oldgod Domain has opened! All participating disciples, enter in teams of no more than two! The passage shall only open again when the minor reges mundi ranking concludes! If you wish to back out early, use the Oldgod Ring to inform the Mundus Enforcers. However, remember that if you do so, you forfeit the right to be on the reges mundi ranking!” an elder’s voice rang out from that dark world.

Tianming already understood the rules, so he didn’t need to pay too much attention.

The elder reiterated his words before the ebon disciples in the front began to leap into the Oldgod Domain. The passage had a formation that only let disciples under a hundred years old pass. However, someone breaking that rule wasn’t likely to happen. The big clans wanted face, while the small clans didn’t dare to break the rules.

The Mundus Enforcers would enter, too, but obviously from another entrance. There were already over ten thousand of them inside, all of them at least in the Order stage. They were broken up into teams and wouldn’t let the participating disciples see them under normal circumstances. But once something occurred, they would quickly intercede.

……

The ebons moved fast. Once they were done, it was the other regal clans’ turn. The youths from other clans didn’t dare to cut in front.

“Why the rush? The battle will be half a year if it’s short, and a few years if it drags on.” Lin Lele rolled her eyes. A few moments later, she said, “We’re up, Brother Feng. Follow Big Sis in!” She grabbed Tianming’s hand and began running. The ground shook in her wake, attracting much attention.

“That must be the Swordgod Lin Clan’s sixth branch disciple, the inheritor of their tyrannical sword style.”

“So fierce! She’s in the Order stage.”

“That white-haired Lin Clan disciple next to her is being dragged along! Haha!”

Many people couldn’t resist laughing.

“Wait! White-haired!” Many people realized something. During this period of time, everyone had heard the hottest news no matter where they were on Ebonia. The news involved Lin Mu and Yi Daiyan—Lin Mu’s son had returned to the Lin Clan!

“It’s him, Lin Feng!”

“Am I seeing things? Wasn’t he some trash who wasn’t even a stellaminor? Why’s he in the Oldgod Domain?” Many were shocked.

“Your news is outdated. His actual strength is actually an eighth-level stelllaminor, which is just at the threshold.”

“It’s not about his strength. Isn’t his presence here reminding the world of the Lin Clan’s scars?”

“Right!”

“Who’s the idiot that decided to let him come here?”

“Amazing! I take my hat off to you, Lin Clan.”

Most of the Lin Clan disciples had gone in, so the people at the back weren’t afraid to discuss it. Word even reached the luxdaemons behind them. Those handsome men and beautiful women were all similarly confused.

Lin Jianxing, who was at the entrance, also heard all the discussion. Everyone was laughing at the Lin Clan.

“This is all as you expected, right, Jianxing?” A beautiful woman in a purple dress was next to him.

“Yes.” Lin Jianxing grit his teeth. Holding the woman’s hand, he leapt into the abyss. “I hope he runs into me early, so I can remove him.”

“Remove him from your sight or remove him from the world of the living?”

“I pray it’s the latter,” Lin Jianxing spat out within the storm of darkness.

……

The storm in the underground world was fierce. The Oldgod Domain was completely different from the Swordsoul Purgatory; the storm within was a superstorm made of various divine hazards that sent every disciple that entered flying.

Tianming felt like he had entered a sea and his internal organs had been jumbled up. He lost all sense of direction as he was tossed everywhere. Fortunately, there was a strong hand holding on to him.

Honestly, he was almost at the point of crying. It was too embarrassing! He felt like a frail maiden being protected by a big, strong man as they went through a romantic adventure. Worst of all, the strong, firm grip did indeed fill him with a sense of security.

“I’m kaput. If this goes on, I’m going to bend.” Their team was filled with contrasting cuteness.

The tossing and turning continued for an hour before finally stopping. Tianming couldn't help but turn pale, then continuously dry heave, almost vomiting his guts out as he supported himself on a rock. “Dammit!”

“Hah. Your astral physique hasn’t left the constraint of mortal bodies yet, so it’s nothing compared to my body!” Lin Lele smugly said,

Tianming looked back. She did indeed look very relaxed. That was the vast gap between a god and an astral god. He breathed in deeply, then started checking his surroundings. He was in a closed-off area. Half of the area was filled with holes and the other half was filled with rocks and soil. In Ebonia’s underground, there were many tunnels made by nova wildbeasts. They may even be their nests.

Of course, if wildbeasts could dig, so could humans.

“Alright, time to begin the fight!” Tianming reached out and took out a silver egg from his lifebound space.

“Wow, you can lay eggs?” Lin Lele was stunned.

“Silence.” Tianming rolled his eyes at her. He had nine billion Yin Chens on him. He planned to use four billion to fill the Oldgod Domain so he could have map vision. Supposedly, this Oldgod Domain had many wondrous items. “Is this the space beneath the Infinitum Stele my dad mentioned?”

The Yin Chens turned into a flood of cockroaches that poured out of his lifebound space, surging in all directions. As metal bugs, they were naturally adept at digging!

“What’s that?” Lin Lele was stunned again. She couldn’t see anything, but she felt like there was a sea of bugs around her.

“My eyes.” Tianming grinned. He had taken out four billion Yin Chens, but there were only ten thousand participants! He refused to believe he couldn’t turn bad luck into good luck and take advantage of all the opportunities available with such map vision.

There were so many Yin Chens that sending them all out took a while, but Tianming’s area was eventually empty.

News came quickly. “Big Sis Le, we have a target. Follow me!” This was his turf now, and Yin Chen had said it’d found a set of strange bones.
