Chapter 2087 - Distant Star Patrol

"The Infinitum Bodhimanda?" It was undoubtedly the name of a force. However, Tianming didn’t know if they were powerful, so it didn’t scare him at all.

The Mysterium Cluster is a cluster. According to the Sky Plundering Tomb, Flameyellow Imperial Star’s territory was known as the Flameyellow Firmament. What’s the difference between a cluster and a firmament? These guys mentioned a mundus. What’s that, compared to a cluster and firmament? With those questions in mind, Tianming continued steering the tomb forward. Baring its “teeth” and “claws”, the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb came face to face with a hundred sharp swords. Tianming didn’t give up even after hearing the words “Infinitum Bodhimanda.”

"Stop! Taking another step will be tantamount to declaring war against the Infinitum Bodhimanda. You’ll bear the consequences of your actions!" A deep, heavy voice sounded from the largest sword-shaped astralship.

The tomb’s dragon heads roared in unison, overwhelming their opponent's voice. Tianming continued moving forward, testing the waters. Just as the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb was about to reach the fleet of sword-shaped astralships, a tall and burly man jumped out from the frontmost astralship, then he stood in front of the tomb and stopped them. "I am Fang Dading from Team Dading, the 956th team of the distant star patrol’s 8372nd section. Who are you? You dare ignore our repeated warnings. You aren’t a nobody, are you?" Others emerged from the astralships, covetously eyeing Tianming.

Sweeping his gaze across the people in front of him, Tianming found that his opponents were beastmasters and the strongest one among them was their captain, Fang Dading. As his name suggested, he was heavily built and strong. Tianming thought that he might be a fifth- or sixth-level sovereign. Although Tianming, a seventh-level solarian, wasn’t strong enough to defeat him, Weisheng Moran certainly could.

"The distant star patrol? There’s thousands of sections within that, and hundreds of teams in each section, and a hundred astralships in one team? How many astralships would there be in the entire distant star patrol? Does this guy think I'm a fool?" Tianming rolled his eyes. After meeting his opponent, he felt even more confident. However, he wasn’t so stupid as to show himself, but remained inside the tomb. "I, Ye Chen from Violetglory, am interested in this unowned nova source. You have yet to transport it away so it belongs to whoever’s stronger." Ye Chen, who was far away on the sun, suddenly sneezed.

"Ye Chen? Are you kidding? You’ll find more than a million Ye Chens in any nova source world! What a stupid name!" Fang Dading mocked.

His men roared with laughter. They didn’t appear to be very smart.

"Shouldn't you focus on the fact that I’m trying to seize this unowned nova source?" Tianming sneered.

"Go ahead!" Fang Dading said.

"What?" Tianming froze. He had come there in the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, formidable and intimidating, hoping to frighten them and display his strength.

"What does he mean?" Feiling asked in confusion.

"Who knows!" Tianming said to Fang Dading. "Did you hear me? I want this nova source and I’m going to take it away!"

"Okay, we’ll go by old rules!" Fang Dading laughed.

"It’s going to be a good show!"

"I hope this guy wins! Then we don't have to stay in this shitty place for at least fifty years more."

"Anyone who goes by Ye Chen is usually brave! I’m called Ye Chen, and so is my distant cousin."

Tianming felt a headache coming on as he watched them laughing out loud. Who would have thought his first opponents in this new world would react so unexpectedly.

"What rules?" Tianming asked.

"Are you stupid? Haven’t you ever been to the Infinitum Bodhimanda? We’ll go by the rules of the Infinitum Bodhimanda, of course! It’s number one in the entire Infinitum Mundus!" Fang Dading roared with laughter.

"What a dumbass!"

"Ye Chen the moron!"

Watching tens of thousands of people burst into laughter, Tianming found himself covered in cold sweat.

"Are they crazy? They're so weird," Xiaoxiao said.

"God knows." After a moment’s contemplation, Tianming asked, "Alright then. How does it go?”

"You choose. Do you want an astralship battle or a fight between men? If you choose the latter, do you want a one-on-one duel or a group fight? If you choose the former, we have a hundred astralships while you only have one. It’s unfair to you, so I advise you against it. We don’t want you to complain that we’re taking advantage of you and ignoring the rules of the Infinitum Bodhimanda!" Fang Dading said.

"You mean to decide the ownership of this nova source through fighting?" Tianming asked.

"Of course! All conflicts in the Infinitum Mundus can be resolved by fighting. The winner is king! Have you been living under a rock?!" Fang Dading sneered.

"Haha, under a rock!"

"The country bumpkin Ye Chen knows less than I do."

"But I have to say, his astralship looks pretty good!"

"Damn it, it’s like a dog living in a palace!"

They burst out in laughter once more.

Tianming and the others exchanged a meaningful look.

"Is this a trap?" Xiaoxiao asked.

"Let’s test them out." Taking a deep breath, Tianming played the profound thinker and said, "Alright, then I choose a one-on-one duel. What do you think?"

"Okay. According to the single combat rules of Infinitum Bodhimanda, we’ll choose the strongest person, and that’s me. I’m a fifth-level sovereign. I’m not very powerful, but I can deal with weaklings," Fang Dading said.

Tianming was surprised. Shouldn’t the two sides fight until bloody rivers flow in a dispute over an extremely valuable treasure? But he even allowed Tianming to choose and agreed to a one-on-one duel? "Are you sure we can take this unowned nova source just by defeating you alone?" he asked.

"Silly boy, you wouldn’t be asking that if you’ve visited the Infinitum Bodhimanda. In the Infinitum Mundus, the way we resolve conflicts has always been very simple. We’re willing to risk it all and we’re good losers. That’s how we cultivate ourselves," Fang Dading seriously said.

What kind of strange force was this Infinitum Bodhimanda? "Okay. I’ll send my maid over so you can’t say I’m taking advantage of you," Tianming replied.

"No! You can’t!" Fang Dading sternly refused. "In a one-on-one, the strongest person from both sides must be chosen. If you send your maid, you’re looking down on me!"

He didn’t want to fight an easy opponent. What kind of logic was that? "I'm just kidding. This is my big sister. She’s the strongest one on our side," Tianming said.

"That's more like it! Stop wasting my time and let’s do this. This battle is witnessed by the Infinitum Bodhimanda! We’re fighting for this unowned nova source! The winner gets the nova source and the loser will retreat at once, without any more interest in it!" Fang Dading seemed almost devout. From his expression, Tianming saw a fanatical belief in the rules. There were at least a million people behind him, all of whom had suddenly become extremely excited. They eagerly roared, cheering for Fang Dading as if he were about to perform a sacred ritual.

"Dading, Dading, best in the world!"

"Dading, the Invincible!"

"Infinitum Bodhimanda above, bless us, undying fighting spirit! Brother Ding will have many children, descendants that will last through the ages!"

"Fuck off! What’s a duel have to do with his descendants?!"

"What do you know? Maybe it’ll lead to a friendship with a beauty and then marriage."

"Damn!"

"Brother Ding is invincible. He was born with two dicks, one in front and one in the back, for both attacking and defending!"
