Chapter 2058 - Unkillable Monster
Tianming kept digging with the sword in his right hand and pushing apart divine celestial formations with his left hand. The walls ahead of him collapsed as he bore a hole through thousands of meters of astralship.
The Blood Abyss Wargod naturally felt the divine astralship formation being breached. He had been gathering the ship's power for a blast that would destroy Kunlan Lake, only to find that a hole had been drilled in the back of the eyeball. "Who in the world is boring his way through the eye with the might of their person?! Impossible! Even if he has a divine artifact that's harder than blood abyss steel, there's no way he can destroy a divine astralship formation! The formation itself isn't shattered, so how's he making his way inside?!"
Not even a peak elite like him would expect Tianming to have that trick up his sleeves. "How annoying. So if I don't fight you, you'll bore your way in and find me? Doesn't that make it look like I'm afraid of you?" From the very beginning, he had ignored Tianming's attempts to challenge him to a duel. It wasn't that he wasn't confident in winning. He just didn't find it necessary. Yet Tianming was making his way through the ship toward him like a pangolin.
"The Eye of the Blood Abyss is my territory. Do you have a death wish?" The eye on his chest looked much fiercer now that his personal might had been challenged.
Tianming was wreaking havoc inside the ship wherever he went. If he managed to reach the miniaturized nova source, everything would end horribly. The Blood Abyss Wargod had to give up on Kunlan Lake for now.
"What kind of abilities could you possibly have, for you to come all the way here to fight me?" In a flash, the Blood Abyss Wargod made his way toward Tianming through the intertwining halls. Little did he know that Tianming had unleashed tens of millions of Yin Chens once he had entered. They turned into more than a billion invisible cockroaches and spread out through the ship to look for the Blood Abyss Wargod.
"He is... coming your... way now."
"Alright! I can't wait to deal with him already!" Tianming was relieved that his foe was brave enough to face off against him. "Come out!"
Ying Huo, Meow Meow, Lan Huang, Xian Xian, and Yin Chen came out in full force. The prime wonder turned into the Prime Mountain and stood tall, growing in size and gaining unbelievable mass from the power of Tianming’s Omnisentient Threads. It haphazardly crashed around with Lan Huang, digging a huge battlefield in the insides of the ship. Ying Huo and Meow Meow blasted their abilities with full abandon, reducing their surroundings to ruins.
"Keep it up! The more we mess this place up, the angrier he'll be and the more unwilling he'll be to let me go!"
"That's too easy! It's what we're good at!" Ying Huo bragged.
Tianming really had the right people for the right job. His lifebound beasts rampaged around before the battle had even started. Meow Meow's abilities, in particular, had left thousands of holes all across the ship. The materials that made up its internals were much easier to destroy since they weren't made up of blood abyss steel, after all.
Tianming also wreaked havoc with his totems. In a few short moments, nothing near them was left standing. There was a sphere-shaped hole in the ship that was covered in the flames of destruction. It looked like an army of a million had rampaged through the area.
Within those ruins, Tianming looked incredibly imposing, with his ten totems and five beasts surrounding him. Rage built up within him as the Blood Abyss Wargod closed in on them. His black and gold eyes turned in the direction of the bloody mist, out of which the burly sovereign burst! The specter's body kept growing in size until it reached a few thousand meters tall. His jade-like body turned into blood-colored steel, making him look like a giant robot. The eye in his chest looked even more sinister after growing this large. There were more than nine thousand stars inside the eye.
The gigantic metal monster began manifesting Tianming's face. The Blood Abyss Wargod had reached a nigh-unkillable state, on top of the enhancements he got from supersizing! He was known as an unkillable monster in the astralscape. The eye on his chest turned to Tianming, radiating the rage he felt. It was the first time anyone had managed to damage his ship to such an extent.
"Li Tianming, you’re nothing but an insect that managed to worm your way here. Did you think you were actually strong?" The Blood Abyss Wargod impatiently turned into a bloody shadow as he charged.
"At the very least, I'm ten thousand times stronger than a tortoise that only knows how to hide! I can hardly believe someone like you is called the Blood Abyss Wargod. How am I supposed to accept that you swept through the astralscape when you aren't even qualified to lick my shoes?"
Even though that was a childish provocation, it had its uses. Both sides were angered by one another and their rage grew to a peak right before their clash.
"Kill him dead!" Tianming, his five beasts, and ten totems ganged up on a single specter! The Prime Mountain slammed down on the bloody giant, while Tianming and his totems attacked from the front. Ying Huo and the rest formed a group, while Yin Chen was all over the battlefield.
"A divine wonder?!" It was ridiculous enough for Tianming to have ten totems, but his divine wonder caused the sovereign to widen his eyes. The Blood Abyss Wargod knew that the divine wonderians' unique talent wasn't something that other races could easily attain or practice. However, he didn't have much time to ponder before the Prime Mountain fell toward him with full force.
"Ugh!" The Blood Abyss Wargod was used to handling such power with his perfect combat physique. Bursts of astralforce were unleashed as he punched the bottom of the mountain, sending it flying into the air and piercing into the roof above! The entire ship rumbled from the collision.
Wudi and the others back on the sun knew that Tianming had made his way deep into the Eye of the Blood Abyss.
"Gentlemen, be ready to announce the truth to the people. My son, Tianming, is facing off against a most powerful mysterian, the Blood Abyss Wargod!" Wudi proudly said.
"Brother Wudi, are you certain Tianming can win?" Sovereign Starfeather asked. That was the Blood Abyss Wargod, a top figure among mysterians! Someone the sovereign could never reach in his lifetime. Even Sovereign Brightscorch seemed a little starstruck at the mention of such a figure.
