Yuan Meng pursed her lips and said with one of her brows raised.
"Eheh, that, Sister In Law, how can I let you get there alone after seeing you, didn't you go to your work by taxi on other days anyways, it's not any much troublesome for me to be a few minutes late since I am the manager."
Seeing Yuan Meng had caught his lie, Su Ren smiled wryly and shook his head with a serious face.
"SIGH, alright, I know that you are not going to listen anyways."
Yuan Meng shook her head with a sigh accepting defeat.
"Sister-in-law and ummm... how about you two move forward, my car is just by the gate, it's a brown Honda, you will find it right away, I will come with Old Ye."
Not knowing how to address Ning Wei, Su Ren could only say that.
He had heard Little Jia call Ning Wei as her MOM, so he didn't need to think much to know that this lady was the little girl's mother.

"But she looked a bit sad when she looked at you, did something happen between you two?"
Su Ren asked remembering the pitiful gaze of Ning Wei which he felt when she was about to walk with Yuan Meng.
"Nothing like that, but she scolded Jia, which made me a bit annoyed."
Ye Qian shook his head and sighed.
"Old Ye, I might not know what it is to have a family or a child, but I don't think that she would scold her child without any reason, maybe she is just troubled with something or the other in her heart."
Su Ren first thought of teasing Ye Qian using Ning Wei since she was so beautiful and even lived in his house.
But then seeing Ye Qian sigh and say that Jia was scolded by her mother, Su Ren knew that it was not the right time to do something like that.
"Hmm, I know, maybe my silence hurt her even more than my voice would have. SIGH."
Ye Qian sighed shaking his head and looking at Ning Wei's back.
"Old Ye..."
Seeing the expression on Ye Qian's face, Su Ren was shocked.
It was because, from Ye Qian's expression, he could see that he really cared about this woman.
'Old Ye could not be lo...., no no, that is not possible, knowing him, Old Ye is only worried about her since she is Jia's mother, yes, if she is sad, then Jia would also remain sad, so he is worried about Jia.'
