'Why is he so nice?'
Standing a few steps away from the gate, Ning Wei stared at Ye Qian with her eyes unfocused, sometimes there would be a flicker of love and sometimes a helpless look in them.
If before she had thought that almost all men would be the same then right now ever since after meeting Ye Qian, she could not help but want to lament the fact that that was wrong and there was indeed an exception to it.
And that man stood right before her.

Ning Wei was about to thank him for understanding her so much and not blaming her when she heard a loud honk from behind her.
Ye Qian said while giving a pat on her shoulder and walking ahead.

With that, he walked to the red honda which stood at the gate while Little Jia was waving her hand from the window calling for them.
"Ahh, Papa, I thought that you and Mom would be at the gate already."
The little girl pursed her lips seeing her mother rushing behind her Papa.
"I am sorry."
Ning Wei apologized with a wry smile on her face as she joined, sitting at the back along with Little Jia and Yuan Meng.
"Good that you are not overthinking now."
As soon as she sat, she heard Yuan Meng.
For a moment her heart stopped hearing such words, but seeing the calm smile, Ning Wei nodded.
"It would not have been without you, Sister Meng."
"Huh, Mom, Aunt Meng, what are you two talking about?"
Hearing the conversation between the two, the little girl was confused as to what they were talking about.
"Jia, I and your mother are talking about how we have been helping each other all these years while you and Qiqi were so small."
Yuan Meng said as she stroked the little girl's head gently.
"Ohh, yes I know it was just at my last birthday that mom didn't come much to you before that we would always be staying together in your house and I would help Qiqi and you would help me."
The little girl said remembering as she beamed but then some sadness appeared on her sweet face as she turned to her mother.
"Mom, but why did we stop staying with Qiqi and Aunt Meng?"
The words of the little girl were like claps of under which caused Ning Wei to shudder for a moment before she said with a forced smile while her face turned a bit pale when compared to before.
"Jia, don't you think that as a guest living for a long time will make the host do a lot of work?"
Ning Wei's question made Yuan Meng frown slightly because what she said just didn't make any sense.
One had to know that Little Jia and Ning Wei were staying with her and Little Qiqi for more than two months and that was also when Little Jia went to primary school.
And after that Ning Wei suddenly said that she could not stay with them and be a burden to her.
She didn't know just what had come to Ning Wei's mind all of a sudden since she knew that either Ning Wei or Little Jia, none of them was a burden to her in the least, in fact, it was a much better option since Ning Wei would not need to pay the rent and would even help Yuan Meng with some cooking and taking care of the girls which helped her a lot.
So the fact that they were starting to become a burden was definitely a big hoax.
But since it was her decision, Yuan Meng also could not ask her what was the real reason for her leaving, worried that Ning Wei would get annoyed.
It was because when she first asked her the reason as to why she was thinking like this and neither were she nor Little Jia any kind of burden and also stated many reasons how she was helping them in the house as well, but Ning Wei had reacted in a way which made Yuan Meng to be deeply worried about her.
Meanwhile, Ye Qian who sat in the front seat also had his brows raised high as he looked at Ning Wei from the rearview mirror.
Her words just didn't make any sense, but since right now was not the right time he also didn't want to ask about it either.
As for Mrs Ji, she was confused by the sudden turn of events because the two ladies were harmonious just a moment ago, but now the situation between them seemed to have turned a bit sour.
Not thinking much, she started the car and drove towards the Turtle Primary school.
It had been a few moments since the car drove when Ye Qian started to ask what he wanted to do.
"Mrs Ji that day, you were saying about the woman who stopped us..."
Ye Qian trailed off as Mrs Ji nodded.
"Yes, her name is Shu Jie, and about her son that day I told you, he met an accident I think, this caused a severe impact on her heart and mind as she lost her sense, she used to live with her parents who were now taking care of her."
Mrs Ji sighed as she turned the car and continued.
"But, I don't know why, whenever I met her, I felt that there was nothing wrong with her, in fact, many a time, I felt that what she was saying was really the truth."
Mrs Ji shook her head and pushed her lips as if remembering.
Ye Qian nodded.
"Did she tell like how her son died?"
Ye Qian asked as he nodded understanding something from her
"Yes, she used to mutter that there was a man in an old cloak and his hands were like that of a rotten corpse."
Mrs Ji tried to remember since this was something that she had heard about more than a year ago.
