There was complete silence after someone had vouched out a thought.
"Who was it? Walk ahead."
Professor Zhang called out aloud once again while squinting his eyes at everyone present in front of him.
Almost everyone present other than Professor Zhang and the two in front of him in the lab turned to a young man who was trying to hide behind a researcher.
"Young man come on, was it not you, don't worry, Professor is not going to scold you."
The one who was sneering before at the young researcher said with a mocking tone.
His voice was obviously loud enough for everyone to hear and know who was the person who just spouted some nonsensical words just now.
"I...I!"
The young man who was trying to hide, now had no way to hide anymore as he could only hold his head low and walk to the front.
One could see that the person who walked out was quite young and barely seemed to have reached 30.
One had to remember that this was one of the biggest Laboratories in the Province and it was also specialized in Genetics, so for someone who was this young to even enter as a researcher was quite a lot of achievement for people in any normal place.
Of course, this was not the same within the lab, but still, the young man could be said as quite an exception since he was just too young when compared to the others.
The young man was also not much tall and was just 5.4 feet tall with his hair a bit unevenly combed.
He was wearing specs and other than that, there was nothing that one could find that was anything outstanding in his looks.
He looked extremely like any normal person and one could even find it hard to think that this young man was a researcher.
As the young man walked out from the crowd, Professor Zhang took a careful glance at him from head to toe and had his brows raised high as he asked with a voice which was completely deprived of any kind of emotion.
Hearing the words of Professor Zhang, the young man was a bit frightened but still nodded.
"Yes, sir, this was just my speculation, if I am wrong then please do forgive me for not being knowledgeable enough."
The young man said with his voice obviously suffering out of fear and anxiousness.
A chance of being able to work in one of the biggest laboratories in the province would be something that many might strive for and would be enviable by numerous of people.
But if someone were to be removed from such a place then there was a chance that no one in would ever want to support him later on.
This remark would forever be etched on his profile, leaving a scar that would never leave him ever.
Right now he was standing in front of the person whom he had admired and looked up to for so many years.
If it was some other time then he would have been really excited to even say a simple HI to the person in front of him.
But right now, he could not help but feel afraid for some reason.
Meanwhile, from behind, the man in his 40s who had just pushed the young man to the front with his words said with a voice as if he was a senior who was apologizing in the stance of his junior.
"Professor Zhang, this young man is new, so I will ask for you to be lenient on him, it has not even more than a month since he has joined the lab, the kid is excellent in Gene Fusion."
The man said with an obvious remark, but one could see a faint amount of flash of disdain in his eyes as he glanced at he young man's back as he held his head low.
"Ohh, is it?"
Professor Zhang who was taking a careful look at the young man with an obvious gaze which was filled with not just wonder and amazement but also a small amount of shock in his eyes as if he had remembered something all of a sudden.
"Yes...yes, Professor, I am Yin Hua, a newcomer in the Lab, I... I really admire Professor Zhang."
With a wry look on his face and obviously not having the courage to face the Chief Scientist of the Laboratory, the young man named Yin Hua said while stuttering.
It could not be any more obvious to the fact that he was a bit afraid that his words from before might have irked this Professor.
"Ohh, and what do you specialize in?"
Professor Zhang asked with his voice just the same as before.
Meanwhile, in the crowd, the man in his mid-40s once again sneered lightly as he looked at the same show that was about to happen right in front of them.
"Heh, idiot, just wait till the Professor makes you understand how to behave with your seniors."
He was extremely delighted to see this young scientist named Yin Hua lose face and also to receive some amount of scolding.
It had not even much time since the young man named Yin Hua had joined, but he was already in some discord with one of the senior scientists.
One had to be extremely careful given the field in which they were working in, and it was extremely good to have the support of their seniors who would be able to help them in any situation if they were to ever fall into such a condition.
One had to know that although scientists would have to do many things and would mostly be accommodated with many kinds of high-end types of equipment, but it was still a new place if they were to start working in one of the biggest laboratories within the province.
So there was less chance that any newcomer would want to get on bad terms with any of their seniors.
