But with the discovery of these completely different kinds of cells, a new world full of possibilities had been opened for not just his juniors and the staff, but also opened a whole new world of possibilities for his own theories as well.
One had to know that he was always working on different ways to enhance the human body and bring the various kinds of extremities that it could handle.
But he was also aware of the fact that his theories would be marked as lunatic theories without any kind of base or sense and were nothing but just mad thoughts.
But after getting to know the existence of these cells, not just his old theories, but also countless new ones.
But he knew that until and unless he were to find the secrets of these special cells and find a way to multiply them, or at the least try to find a way of how they are able to do all those things that they could even when they don't require any kind of nutrients or source of energy.
But after so many studies and experiments, and not being able top find any way to replicate these cells even with all those endless ways that they knew of, he could only be dejected and wait for it hopelessly.
But when he found that about 20 percent of the cells had suddenly died completely, he was just shocked.
And it was not some shock that could be countered with any means.
After a few more moments of carefully examining the videos, there were many of the theories that ran in his mind.
"Professor, it looks as if the cells had found the special kind of MATTER which they would always be excited about, but after a moment they were zapped with some kind of torment that killed them."
The young man in front of him pondered.
"Hmm, that is exactly, they seemed to have found the MATTER?"
Professor Zhang agreed with his speculation.
Since they were not able to discern what kind of energy these special cells were used in order to sustain, but they could clearly see that the actions of these cells were somewhat similar to that of any normal cells which would move in order to obtain the food source, they had started calling the special food which these cells caught as MATTER.
And after studying these cells for so long, they had understood that the cells would not always show excitement which meant that even if the energy source of these special was present in that air, it was not always the same.
This meant that even if they were to say that the MATTER was in the air, it was also possible for the MATTER to be present in the air surrounding them or not.
"Did you open the pod for a while?"
Professor Zhang asked while scratching his chin.
The pod that Professor Zhang was talking about was the special container which was specially made for keeping these SUPERCELLS safe.
After quite a lot of time spent in studying these cells, they understood that there were often times when they had found that the cells would show the same excitement whenever the pod was opened.
So a thought like this had appeared in his mind as he asked the two of them.
The two young scientists, who had been in charge of the SUPERCELLS for a long, both glanced at each other and then shook their heads.
One had to know that other than the three people present within the laboratory absolutely no one was allowed to even get close to the pod.
In fact, access to the pod was only given to these three people.
One of which was Professor Zhang himself.
And the other two were this young man and woman.
Other than them, it was impossible for anyone else to even get closer to the lab where the pod was kept under high security since no one else other than the three had the key to enter the lab.
So it had to mean that anyone of them might have entered.
But after a single glance at the two's expressions, Professor Zhang knew that none of them had even gone closer to the pod much less opened it.
"If you two didn't then what kind have excited the SUPER CELLS to such a degree?"
Professor Zhang mumbled as he stared at the excited dark-coloured cells for a long while.
"Professor, could it be that they have some connection with the origin along with the body...."
Among the few tens of other scientists and researchers, someone asked.
But the voice was quickly suppressed as the others hushed the owner to turn quiet.
"SHSHH"
"Are you an idiot, how can that happen, these cells are out of the body, how can they have any relation to that of the original body now?"
A few of the others could not help but laugh and mock, while the others rolled their eyes.
But that was not the same with the three people standing at the centre of the lab.
As for Professor Zhang, it could be said that he had heard some words which had enlightened him about a new possibility that he had never thought of.
"Who... who was it just now?"
He called out in a loud voice.
It was hard for anyone to confirm whether his voice was filled with anger or shock of finding something which he had never thought of.
"Heh, now go, speak yourself out, don't you want to get known by the Professor for so long and talk to him personally, go he is asking for you right now."
A man who looked to be in his mid 30's sneered as he turned to the young man beside him.
"I...I don't want to."
The young man who had just said the words tried to hide behind the few seniors afraid that his words might have angered the Chief Scientist of this laboratory.
