"No no, Professor, no one has entered the pod ever since you left and nothing was changed even in the slightest."
The young scientist in front of him said while the others also shook their heads.
"Then what might it be?"
Professor Zhang frowned as he looked at the video on the tablet and then scrolled it from the time before the woman had handed him the tablet.
The moment he saw the video of the time before, his eyes which were a bit wrinkled suddenly were widened.
The woman and the man scientist both took a glance a the tablet in the professor's hand wanting to know just what it was that made him have such a change all of a sudden.
On the scene of the tablet, after rewinding the video that happened before what he had seen, the cells seemed to have suddenly turned excited as if they had sensed something which they were delighted to find but after a few moments, all the cells started to tremble uncontrollably as if they were suffering from the pain which was just too much unbearable for them to accept.
Seeing this scene, the professor's frown deepened.
With their observation, the scientists had terrorized that there was something that the cells would suck into their bodies from the environment, but it was impossible for them to clearly find out what it was.
But they were sure that the MATTER which was providing these SUPER CELLS, their energy would not be any sort of leeway thing.
Yes, the scientists and researchers had named these cells SUPER CELLS.
And it was definitely not because if their ability to survive even without the ORIGIN body at all.
But because how they were able to withstand almost all kinds of hazardous methods which would be more than enough to destroy anyone, almost everyone had thought that there was no way that these peculiar cells would face any kind of destruction.
And that was also one of the reasons why they had named it like such.
But right now they didn't dare to call the cells by their SPECIAL NAME at all, the reason was simple, the way things have happened all of a sudden made them feel that they should not call the special cells by such a name since it would be a huge joke.
Having worked for so long and being experts in their field, the two young scientists also found a peculiar change in the activity of the SPECIAL CELLS and it would be a big question if they could not tell the difference.
It was because these two were also the ones who were observing these cells in absence of Professor Zhang who was the head of this research.
And the two of them already knew the severity of the loss of these close to 20 per cent of these cells.
It could be said that even a loss of just a single cell could be said as a great failure and that as also why none of them dared to use more than one cell for the various kinds of experiments.
But right now, all of a sudden more than a thousand of cells had suddenly turned lifeless, it was just something that they had never dared to imagine ever since they had found these special cells.
If it was any other microorganism, which they had painstakingly created in this huge laboratory then maybe there was a chance that they would not have felt such wary.
But that was definitely not the same for this specific kind of cell which they had clearly stumbled across just because of fate.
It was because, no matter how many kinds of experiments they practised upon, they got results that they could have never thought were possible for any normal cell to exhibit.
But although these cells were such special, they lacked something which every single cell in this world would exhibit.
Which was the ability to reproduce.
Normally, a bacteria would need no more than 5 minutes to reproduce.
But that was definitely not the same with these cells which they had been observing for more than a few days already.
In fact, none of them had seen even a single cell show any kind of steps which a normal cell would show.
And that was the only fact which made these cells utterly precious in the eyes of all these researchers and scientists.
Because this only meant that there was absolutely no way that they could even try to replicate these cells ever.
And it was also not like they had not tried to replicate these cells in numerous ways which the world was aware of.
These were the few scientists who prevailed in genetics and it was nothing but just a mere thing for them to replicate any kind of organism with just a few steps, but even they had not been able to get any kind of answer for the question which they all had been working so hard for.
Which was to find a way to replicate the SUPER CELLS.
In fact, all these days, it would not be wrong to say that the lab had used almost half of its annual research fund just so that they would be able to find any peculiar way to make these cells form clones as well.
But no matter how much they tried, be it the genetically enhanced methods or the regular old methods of culturing, these cells would never show any signs of reproducing.
In fact, many of them had thought of making genetic clones of these special cells, but they were shocked to find that the cells just had no real generic material in them which could be used as a stencil or a base if they wanted to make a genetic sequence of these SPECIAL CELLS.
They had even tried to artificially force the DNA of these cells wanting to force the other microorganisms to replicate, but there was just one result that followed.
No matter what kind of host cell it was, the cell would just not live for even a moment if it accepted this foreign DNA into its system.
