Seeing the shiny rice in front of their eyes with the aroma which was clearly of the various vegetables and sauces, the two ladies were a bit shocked.
They were the ones who had washed the fish when Ye Qian removed them, and from the smell, they were clearly a bit nauseated for a moment before Ye Qian used some trick to wave off the smell from the kitchen.
But they were sure that no matter how much one washed the fish, there would still be a fishy smell coming from its meat.
And it was not just because it was caught by Ye Qian and the girls from the lake, but even the ones caught from the seas would still have a faint fishy smell.
And many times this fishy smell would cause the children to not want to eat the meat of fish.

Taking a spoon full of pearly white fish meat along with the slightly coloured rich and those fresh vegetables, almost caused the two ladies to slurp their saliva subconsciously.
"SLURPPP!'
Ning Wei slurped her saliva, completely disregarding that her actions were seen by Ye Qian and carefully bit into the spoonful of rice.
She didn't even use her lips and only used her tongue to take the rice in her mouth and then chew on the bite with great care.
It felt as if she wanted to chew each of the rice grains and enjoy the taste of the fragrant meat and rice not letting even a bit of it go directly to her stomach.
Yuan Meng was also the same, but her actions were a bit reserved but both of their eyes were wide as they stared at each other for a while before turning to Ye Qian.
It would be a lie to say that they had not eaten the delicious food made by Ye Qian and didn't know of the magical methods he used to make food.
But just now what they had eaten was just even way more ranked above what they had eaten so far.
The two ladies sighed in their hearts knowing that even if it was cooking, there was no way that they would ever have a chance to be rivals against Ye Qian.
There was just no reason to even think of who was better.
As women, they were obviously proud that they could cook such delicious food, but seeing Ye Qian and the methods he used and then tasting the food that he would make for them, they knew that they just had no chance to fight against him in this domain.

From their expressions, he could already see that they were shocked and speechless.

Ning Wei nodded, but then Yuan Meng added something.
"It's not perfect, but still should be according to the girl's taste."
She seemed to be saying as if it was not much special.

"Sister Meng why did you say like this."
She was sure that they had never tasted such good fried rice and in fact, it was even better than the many times that Ye Qian had made.
Although she would not want to compare it since both times it was Ye Qian who made it but this one still tasted different than before.
But she didn't understand why Yuan Meng would say such to Ye Qian.
"Sister Wei, we can't let him be proud, it won't be long before he will look down on us, even if we women are not able to cook as well as a man, won't it be quite a shame for us?"
Yuan Meng took a sneak glance at Ye Qian and seeing him busy with frying the fish, she whispered sneakily.
