The moment Elliot's consciousness returned to his body and found himself back in the twilight forest, the dark blue ray and the golden ray reached the sky, and then they came to a sudden stop. An extreme energy fluctuation surged out of them, spreading outwards and blasting the fabric of the night, all the clouds in the sky, apart.

Such a commotion didn't escape the notice of Freya and Kayn, and they looked up at the dissipating clouds and saw two sources of energy. Freya found the one that was as bright as the sun pretty. Kayn, on the other hand, wanted to worship the dark blue one that was more magnificent than the moon.

Boom!

Merely some seconds after they looked at the sky, thunder boomed in the air, shaking their hearts as dark blue lightning charged downwards with such speed and carrying such destructive power that it shattered the fabric of reality, causing cobwebs like cracks to appear in thin air.

As it went downwards, they spread outwards, making Freya, Kayn, and many other onlookers feel as if the end of the world was here.

The golden one followed after it with incredible speed, too. While going downwards, it morphed into the shape of a mighty dragon with five claws, golden scales, two magnificent whiskers, sun-like eyes, and a hundred meters tall body.

Its eyes disdainfully looked down at the beast below, and a triumphant expression on its face as it.

It was as if it had already considered the other party dead!

The blue-flame empyrean lion saw the destructive lightning and the golden dragon descending towards it and, with a single glance, discerned that they were so strong that taking them on using only its strength would result in its death!

Without a doubt, it activated its ultimate ability.

"Empyrean Might: Monster Fortress."

It opened its mouth, and in the blink of an eye, a bright marble the color of maple leaf appeared in between its thick lips. It raised its head as a gust of energy surged out from the pit of its stomach, went up to its throat, and landed on the back of the marble, tossing it out of its mouth.

The marble shot towards the destructive lightning, and as it did so, it expanded to the shape of a mountain-sized door.

"Open!"

The sounds of bell ringing echoed throughout the twilight forest as the grand door opened up, and the very next moment, tens of thousands of monsters came out and met the destructive lightning.

What happened next shocked Freya and all the other residents of the twilight forest so much that their eyes widened to the size of the sauce, and their mouths opened so wide that their jaws threatened to drop to touch the group.

The one most shocked was the empyrean lion.

Disbelief filled every cell in its body as it saw tens of thousands of monsters disintegrating into ashes before even coming across the destructive lightning!

The invisible energy fluctuations coming out of the dark blue lightning that no one was able to sense or see except for Elliot were disastrous enough to annihilate monsters in the demonic and lord realm!

<br/>The destructive lightning was thin and alone, but it still charged into the depths of the enemy ranks all by itself. It neither slowed down nor did its destructive radiance decrease as it laid waste to tens of thousands of enemies, turning them all to dust. Their ashes hadn't even started falling down when it struck the open door, blasting it into pieces.

The next moment, snow-like ash, wooden shrapnel, and shards of crystals fell down the sky that was half dark and half golden.

The destructive lightning destroyed its kingdom and dissipated, opening up a path for the golden dragon to get to it and butcher it like a pig!

"Roar!"

The Empyrean lion roared before pouncing towards the golden five-clawed dragon.

The golden dragon saw that instead of cowering in fear and running away, the beast actually dared to come towards it, and it felt like it was seeing the most ridiculous thing in its life.

It gave the beast stinky eyes and snorted before swiping its magnificent claws at it.

As it had cast some kind of divine magic, hundreds of draconian claws the size of a boulder manifested in thin air, suddenly appearing in between itself and the empyrean lion.

Without giving the latter any chance to resist, the golden dragon roared, and all of the claws that were as still as the ocean stirred up and rained down towards it.

The numerous claws encompassed its field of vision, compromising its sight.

But the empyrean lion acted as they didn't even exist and continued onwards with its march valiantly.

"Ice-cold fire armor!"

Just as it looked like the many claws would land on it and rip it apart into five hundred pieces, Its eyes lit up in bright blue light, indicating that it had activated its superior defensive ability. Streams of ice-cold fire surged out of its mane, coiling around its entire body, covering it in a defensive armor made out of mythical flames.

The numerous claws of the golden dragon struck its entire-body armor like some kind of torrential rain—the first five created cracks in it but didn't manage to break it. parison to the claws, the moment they met, the ice-cold fiery wisps covered them in a layer of frost.

The claws looked like they were enclosed in ice, but internally, inexplicable heat was devouring them, burning them into nothingness.

A gust of wind bellowed, and all the frozen claws shattered into mere shards, and as they fell from the air, they dissipated into blue smoke.

Even though it had destroyed around a hundred of them, four hundred or so golden claws still remained, and they struck its armor one after another.

As time passed hurriedly, the cracks on its armor grew in both number and size under the assault of the claws.

By the time the barrage of attack ended on it, its armor had shattered apart.

Defenseless it was, yet it still created fiery cold platforms beneath its limbs and used them to jump towards the dragon, which also moved towards it arrogantly.

The two parties head-butted each other as if they were not might beasts but angry birds.

Boom!

The moment the two parties collided in mid-air, the sky and the forest lit up in golden and deep blue radiance. Elliot saw a clear distinction between the two radiances that had permeated the world. The gold didn't have a single trace of blue and vice versa. As for the darkness of the twilight forest, it had temporarily died. And then, without any sound or warning, two massive waves of energy blasted outwards from the point of impact. It created an energy hurricane, which was ten hundred times worse than a wind hurricane. It surrounded the two beasts, making it impossible for Elliot to see what was happening inside. Those inside it couldn't see what was happening outside, and those outside it couldn't see what was happening inside of it. A

As it also not only uprooted trees, patches of grass and made numerous rocks fly everywhere but also shattered the earth and flipped many tracts of land into the air, which all came pelting towards the onlookers, the innocent bystanders like the inhabitants of the twilight forest, Kayn, and Freya, all made a run for their lives.

Freya hugged its neck and tightened her hold around its neck. And it darted ahead with full speed as massive objects crashed on the spots behind it, raising dust and so on.

While they were running away from the point of impact, some beasts were moving towards it. All of them were weaker than the blue-flame empyrean lion, but they all excluded the aura of an empyrean!

Elliot remained standing on his spot, his feet buried in the solid ground and his eyes staring at the dissipating energy hurricane. Before it disappeared for good, it spewed out the lion. And then it vanished, taking the golden dragon with it.

Elliot was a bit surprised as the lion managed to survive both parts of heaven's blight.

But it wouldn't survive him.

Elliot's lips hooked up in a sly, murderous smile.

The thing was that it was severely injured and it crashed on the spot merely steps away from him.

It could neither run away nor fight.

In other words, it was a fish on a chopping board, waiting for the butcher to cut it into pieces!

As an actual butcher wasn't here, Elliot, who was known for being philanthropic, stepped up to butcher the blue-flame empyrean lion.

It saw the crazy look in his eyes and shed tears of blood.

It looks like today was its last day.

Regret instantly flooded its bloodshot eyes.

It regretted not mating with all the beauties in its harem.

It regretted not enjoying the best of the delicacy the chef in its kingdom had to offer.

It regretted not making tens of thousands of children.

It regretted upholding its responsibilities 22 hours a day.

It regretted wasting all its time on reinforcing the seal that kept a great evil locked away in the innermost forbidden zone of the forbidden twilight forest.

Lastly, It regretted fighting Elliot!
