"Seventh innate racial trait: Blood escape." By burning several units of its essence blood, something it only had a limited quantity of, the serpentine devil let its avatar use one of its most powerful moves.

The name itself was enough to tell Elliot and the onlookers that it was about to escape from his trap somehow

"Oh no, you don't!"

Elliot had no intention of letting it escape, so he decided to suppress it by giving another pounding to its face.

However, something inexplicable happened, causing his mood to turn sour.

Right at the moment when Elliot's sixty-ninth slap was going to land on the serpentine devil's face, its body had turned into a mist of blood.

Elliot's attack missed its target.

The blood mist was something intangible, and even his chains weren't able to keep it immobilized, much less his hands.

"Hahaha!"

The serpentine devil was finally free from its restraints!

"Just wait and see how I make you regret not killing me when you had the chance!"

While throwing out these threatening words, the bloody mist shot away from Elliot's avatar, heading towards Grace, Lucy, Oliver, and the beasts belonging to the nightmare region. Eventually, the bloody mist solidified back t the body of the titan.

"What a sore loser." The onlookers could tell what it was planning to do. Since it couldn't harm Elliot, it decided to go after his companions and kill them to make him regret his actions. It was a cheap trick, but they didn't expect anything less from a major villain like the serpentine devil.

Elliot hadn't expected it to pull out such a move, but he wasn't stunned to the point of not coming to a decision.

"No matter what trick you use, it will all be useless.

"Serpentine Devil, you can't escape me!"

Elliot's avatar stood up. Then, everyone saw magnificent wings that were glittering in gold sprouting out of his back. They were several dozens of meters wide and carried immense might.

Whoosh!

With a single flap of his wings, huge gusts of wind blasted outward as the celestial giant shot towards the titan with speed surpassing sound. He covered a considerable distance in the millionth of a second and nearly caught up to the serpentine devil.

His murderous gaze was so threatening that the serpent felt something stabbing into its back, and it turned its head around to see what was making it feel this way and saw that Elliot had already caught up to it.

"Holy fuck!"

Those words escaped its mouth because Elliot's avatar suddenly vanished from its field of vision.

"Where did he go?"

It came to a temporary halt, and it turned its head here and there in search of Elliot but failed to find him.

"Looking for me?"

A cold voice came from behind its body, causing a chill to climb up its spine.

It hurriedly turned around and threw a punch, but it only landed on empty air. Elliot was no longer where he once stood. Instead, the moment the titan turned around, Elliot too moved his body and made his way to the back of his enemy, all the while keeping out of its field of vision.

By the time the serpentine devil realized that, it was already too late.

Elliot gripped its neck, raised it, and started swinging it left and right like a washed cloth, causing it to kiss the ground repeatedly. Using its body as the whacker and the earth as the moles, Elliot was playing whack-a-mole in real-time.

Bang!

Bam!

Bam!

"He is treating the serpentine devil like a doll!"

From the onlookers' point of view, the difference between them was comparable to an inanimate object and a fully grown man with free will. Of course, the serpentine devil was the former, while Elliot was the latter.

The game of whack-a-mole continued until all the bones in its body shattered into thousands of shards, which caused it immense pain as they stabbed into its inflated organs.

"How could I suffer such injustice at the hand of a mere mortal like you? Ugh, I can't believe it!"

"Heh, I'm morally, physically, magically, and spiritually superior, you stupid snake! Of course, I can teach you a lesson in place of your parents that failed to do their job and give you a proper upbringing." Elliot said in a voice that older adults use while educating naughty youngsters. "And don't you think you're being extremely ungrateful! How do you ask? I am giving you a life lesson! Yet, instead of being grateful to me, you're looking at me like you want to kill me. Tell me, is that not being ungrateful? Che, Che, Che."

His words made no sense, alright!

But his words indeed caused the serpentine devil to get consumed by immense hatred and anger.

"You mother fucker! I am going to descend to your world as soon as I can and fucking kill you, then eat you along with all of humanity!" It said.

"Kill me?! Yes, that's the only thing you can do. You only know how to destroy, nothing else stupidly. And even if you manage to kill me and eat me, I will make trouble for you from your stomach! I will fight you from my grave, and if necessary, I will crawl out of your stomach to rip you apart." Elliot retorted.

It was at this moment that the serpentine devil realized one more thing—it could never win against Elliot using its tongue.

Thus, it was better to use its fist.

All of a sudden, it launched a sneak attack.

"Fifth innate racial trait: Manifestation of Ten Thousand Yama's invitation!"

Like the name of the skill, ten thousand bumps appeared all over its body. A look was enough to tell Elliot that something was wrong. He felt endangered and immediately moved away from the avatar of the serpentine devil.

Right at that very moment, sharp spikes shot out of the bumps on its body, charging straight towards Elliot's avatar. Each of them was 5 meters tall and carried an indescribable sharpness to them.. Though, Elliot could tell that he wouldn't end well if they hit him.
