This was something that was unique to each Awakened person and was used as a replacement for the ancient "face detection" and biometrics scan technology.
Each of the classes were fitted with such technology to make sure nobody ended up in a place they weren't meant to go. Upon entering the class, Asher instantly spotted the main cast.
Alex and Orion apparently had an ideology that, so as to "not get attention" from other people, they had to sit at an ordinary spot. So, they had both conveniently chosen to sit at the two opposite corners, all the way at the back.

I looked around and randomly took a seat somewhere around the middle, on the left row. After a few minutes had passed, I heard a soft voice beside me.

She was certainly a beauty though I didn't remember her from the novel, which simply meant she was either an extra or someone who would be introduced later on. Although her looks weren't on the same level as the females in the main cast, it was pretty decent too.

I smiled at her while allowing her to sit beside me. After all, who didn't want to stay near beauties?
After she sat down, I didn't know what to say as my inner crippling introvert once again took over, depicting my absolute experience or, should I say the lack of it with women in my past life?
As I was going through the multiple scenarios that could occur when I tried to initiate the conversation, a woman with green hair and eyes stepped in.
Everybody was constantly eyeing the door to keep a note of everyone who entered on the first day. The moment that woman stepped in, most of the men instantly seemed to have held their breaths as they instantly got dazed upon looking at her beautiful face.
Glancing over at Alex and Orion, I noticed them having flushed eyes with a burning desire for lust within whereas Brian was constantly nodding for some reason as if he was admiring a piece of art.

Even though she was holding back, the only people that could be seen standing were Brian who was sweating quite a bit, Anthony whose face had completely crumbled while his legs were trembling, and Orion who was using the support of the surroundings to barely stand while his face looked like as if he had been running for 12 hours non-stop.
