160 Holy Sh*t! Have I Stumbled Upon an Alien Base? (3)

After lunch and taking a half-an-hour break, it was already around 1:30 in the afternoon.

At that moment, a helicopter flew in from the sky, landed in a safe area, and delivered the gas masks and oxygen tanks Luo Feng had requested.

Luo Feng set the items aside for the moment since they had not found the entrance to the shelter yet.

By around 3:30 P.M., Luo Feng and the wealthy second-generation heirs had been digging for quite some time.

!!

Suddenly, Luo Feng seemed to have discovered something. After clearing the surrounding area, he found a steel plate that looked similar to the material used in the construction of the fallout shelter.

Luo Feng immediately burst into laughter. The steel plate was circular, with a diameter of about 2 meters, and protected by a steel cover.

“Guys, come over here! I think I’ve found the entrance!” Luo Feng exclaimed with a smile. No doubt, the steel plate is likely an entrance that leads to the main part of the shelter.

After digging for about half an hour, Luo Feng unearthed a steel passage about six or seven meters long. The entrance to the passage was the steel plate discovered earlier, and it was operated via a circular handle.

With a clattering sound, Luo Feng pulled the handle. It moved smoothly, which was quite unbelievable for a supposedly old and abandoned structure.

“Holy crap! We’ve been waiting here for the whole day, and at long last, the host has finally found the entrance!” One of the viewers exclaimed.

“Hurry up and show us what’s inside! Maybe there’s a silicone beauty inside!” another joked.

“Why is that the first thing that came to my mind too?” another chimed in.

“Hmmm, if you’re staying inside the shelter for a long time, you’d probably need that kind of thing to relief your sexual frustrations, right?” one suggested.

“But if the owner is rich, wouldn’t they have brought a whole group of beautiful women with them?”

“Won’t they get tired of playing around every day?”

“Just bring more so that there’s a wider variety!”

“…”

“This place would be a great spot to secretly play poker!”

“I wish I had a shelter like this!”

After the door was opened, Luo Feng and his group saw nothing but darkness. The heirs were all very excited.

“Don’t rush in!” Luo Feng cautioned Zhang Shunyong and the others, who were eager to enter. After all the years since it was last built, it was unknown if the ventilation system in the shelter still worked. Luo Feng ordered everyone to put on their oxygen tank and gas mask to be safe.

Soon, everyone was wearing their masks, and they looked like soldiers from a sci-fi movie. Luo Feng turned on his flashlight and led the group into the shelter.

After passing through the 7-meter-long passageway, they arrived at a platform with a steel staircase leading underneath. The mud on the stairs might have been left by the shelter’s original occupants.

The interior was not damp, indicating that it was well sealed. Luo Feng lit a lighter, and it ignited normally, which meant there was still oxygen inside.

“Wow, the host is so professional! I thought he was only good at exploring tombs, but he’s just as good at exploring shelters!” A viewer commented.

“It seems the air circulation system in this shelter is well designed; it’s still functional after all these years!” another remarked.

“Some shelters’ air circulation systems malfunction if they’re not maintained regularly.”

Shining his flashlight around, Luo Feng discovered a shoe rack near the stairs with several pairs of slippers. There were both men’s and women’s styles. He saw a light switch and pressed it, but after waiting a few seconds, there was no response.

Past the entrance, they entered a spacious area of over 1,000 square meters. It was enormous.

Luo Feng’s previous estimate had been wrong. They had likely only discovered a single building within the main structure of the shelter earlier, causing him to think that it was only 400 square meters, when in reality, that area could possibly only be the owner’s bedroom.

The living room had some furniture, but there were no windows or glass. There were even playing cards on the table. It appeared there was another door in the front, which could be an emergency exit.

“So this is a shelter? It’s not quite what I imagined!” One of the heir observed.

“Yeah, it’s simpler than I expected!”

“But it’s over a thousand square meters, which makes it a megastructure!” someone else pointed out.

“There’s a staircase here!” Luo Feng excitedly discovered that the building had more than one floor and was delighted. The staircase spiraled downward and was also made of steel.

Of course, Luo Feng had purposely ignored the treasures in the cabinets within the living room. He wanted to explore the entire structure first.

Following the spiral staircase, Luo Feng and the others quickly reached the second underground floor. The second floor had many separate rooms, which seemed to be bedrooms. However, in the same area, Luo Feng spotted yet another staircase leading to another floor.

Arriving on the third floor, they found even more equipment. There was a separate electrical room and a machine room. The electrical room housed a complete power generation system. Upon inspection, there were no visible signs of damage.

Luo Feng flipped the switch, and the generator hummed to life. After waiting a few minutes, Luo Feng tentatively turned on the light switch near the staircase. As expected, the lights came on, and everything around them became visible.

The entire third floor was brightly lit.

“Wow, the power system is still working after all these years?” A viewer asked in amazement.

“Inferior equipment would have failed after sitting idle for so long!”

“The third floor looks like a hidden paradise!”

“Professional, I can only say it’s too professional!”

“Yes! The first two floors were disappointing, but the third floor feels like a real, bonafide shelter!”

“The first two floors were probably just activity areas!”

The third floor was truly impressive, equipped with power systems, lighting systems, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment. Luo Feng even spotted gas masks and an air quality detector placed on a table.

The group continued to explore the shelter, marveling at the advanced technology and the secrets it held within.
