“Damn! Is it really that terrifying?”

“Oh man, the trap with the big truck was actually linked to this one. It’s even possible that Big Brother didn’t really want for the truck to kill officers. Instead, the real trap was this banner. Is this supposed to be this terrifying?”

“Wow, this is absolutely spine-chilling! Unpredictable, each trap leading to another deadly one. If this wasn’t a show, wouldn’t Big Brother easily kill people?”

“It’s horrifying when you think about it. Who could react in time? Who would have thought that a car crashing into a wall, knocking down a banner, something anyone would remove, could contain such a deadly intent? This level of calculation and foresight is absolutely chilling!”

“I’m totally blown away. It’s impossible to guard against this. Even the expert was quick to react but still a step too late!”

Meanwhile, in the livestream, all the viewers were dumbfounded by the scene, their faces filled with shock. Some even felt a tingling on their scalps.

These methods were too terrifying. The first trap wasn’t meant to kill but to set up the second one. A perfect setup. Such a horrifying intent to kill was impossible to evade. If such plans existed in reality, it would be too frightening.

It was absolutely alarming.

Unknowingly, one might have already stepped into the depths of death.

“What? How is this even possible?”

In the task force control headquarters, Wu Mingyu, Wu Yaoming, and the other chief inspectors were astounded by the scene on the monitors. Their faces turned pale with disbelief.

“This is possible? Wang Yun’s intelligence is diabolical!” exclaimed Kolyev, his mouth agape.

Who could have foreseen this?

A series of interconnected traps. Just when you think they solved one trap and let their guard down, the killing blow from the second trap was already upon them.

“Six officers, six of them… and we haven’t even entered the area yet, but already six are dead,” Wu Yaoming said, shuddering, a chill running down his spine.

His eyes were red with emotion, even a hint of fear creeping into his heart.

“Could all this be within Wang Yun’s view? Do you think Wang Yun might be watching all this from somewhere nearby?” Ying Yuezi inhaled deeply and said, her brows furrowed tightly.

“He’s definitely watching. The start of the truck was either triggered by road surveillance or he’s somewhere high nearby,” Wang Yue nodded solemnly, picking up a communicator. “Sky Eagles, one of your helicopters should scan the area, especially the high points, for any suspicious individuals.”

“Sky Eagle, copy,” came the quick response.

A helicopter over Nanshan Ju Residence quickly moved to the entrance above. A young member of the Sky Eagles team began scanning the ground below with sharp eyes.

Wang Yun might very well be lurking around.

From the first trap, they had already begun to suspect something.

But the second trap came too quickly.

Wu Hua and Hao Jiancheng’s breathing became somewhat labored. Just moments ago they were brimming with confidence, but in the next second, such an incident happened. It was a stark and swift blow to their pride.

“Move the bodies of our six brothers into the vehicle. Everyone else, follow us into the residential area. Without our order, do not take any action,” Hao Jiancheng gritted his teeth and commanded through the communicator. His eyes seemed to blaze with fire.

“Understood,” the program inspectors nearby responded loudly, a chill running down their spines.

“Let’s go. Even if hell lies ahead, I’m going to forge a path through it,” Hao Jiancheng declared, leading the way into the entrance of the area, “I’ll be at the front, you all follow behind.”

“Let’s go together,” Wu Hua stepped forward, standing shoulder to shoulder with Hao Jiancheng, his eyes filled with a mix of cold determination and intense fighting spirit.

The two of them took the lead, walking in the most dangerous position at the front.

Either they would decipher the upcoming traps.

Or,

Face death.

“This… These two experts are thoroughly angered, daring to lead the way at the forefront!”

“Just now, Expert Wu Hua was already impressive, by spotting the trap on the banner. It was just a bit too late!”

“Seeing the two experts at the front gives off a feeling of heroism.”

“Expert Hao Jiancheng, a bomb disposal specialist, is now using a crutch. Was his leg injured in an explosion? Despite the danger ahead, he is unwavering in his duty. Such character is worth our admiration and learning,” commented the viewers in the livestream, watching Hao Jiancheng and Wu Hua leading the way into the neighborhood.

Their fearless figures resonated with the audience, especially seeing Hao Jiancheng’s reliance on a crutch.

They were the heroes of this era.

“Everyone, follow the orders of the two experts and stay close behind them,” instructed Wu Yaoming, his heart racing as he spoke, his eyes glued to the screen.

The atmosphere was tense, and everyone felt a sense of oppression. Ahead lay unknown traps, yet they had no choice but to proceed, fully aware of the danger.

“Understood,” the program inspectors said.

Inspired by the two leading figures, they clenched their fists tightly. On high alert, they followed closely behind, scanning their surroundings vigilantly.

They were determined to contribute their part in this crucial mission.

“Heh, they dodged the first trap, so there must be an expert among them. The second trap almost got discovered too. But I wonder how they’ll deal with the next surprise I’ve prepared,” Wang Yun observed the scene below with narrowed eyes, his gaze cold and calculating.

He then shifted his attention to the two helicopters hovering over Nanshan Ju residential area. Noticing one helicopter moving closer, he swiftly changed his position.

“Two helicopters, huh? They really think highly of me. Are they getting cautious and starting to scout the surroundings?” he murmured, scanning the area with his binoculars. “Besides the helicopters, what other measures are they taking? I must figure it out today.”

However, when his gaze landed on the rooftop of a building ahead, he stiffened. There, he saw two young men setting up something.

“What’s this?” he wondered, his pupils constricting with seriousness.

“Snipers, they even have snipers!” he muttered under his breath.

At that moment, he saw one of the young men assembling a sniper rifle suddenly turn and look in his direction.

“Such strong vigilance,” Wang Yun realized with a chill, acknowledging the expertise of the snipers. He quickly crouched down to stay out of sight.

Helicopters, snipers, hackers, and seemingly experts in trap decryption. Was this team specifically assembled to target him?

“Interesting indeed!” he thought with a mix of apprehension and anticipation.

Note: This is just to clear up any misunderstanding regarding the terminology I use. I use Captains or Chief Inspector intergenbaly and I’m refering to Wang Yue, Ying Yuezi, Kolyev Smith, Wu Mingyu and so one. I do the same with for program officers and program inspectors. I’m not sure if anyone was confused as I got no messages but I wanted to make sure. 😀
