Chapter 418 "3, 2, 1!"

"Heh, I'm grateful. You've broken my shackles!"

The Orochi's nine heads trembled with laughter, their faces fracturing and contorting as colossal snake heads with wide, fleshy fans emerged. Concurrently, the serpent's body shattered, scales raining down, its form distorting and ballooning. The nine human faces transmuted into nine draconic serpent heads!

One head extended forward, biting a bus parked on the street into two pieces! The nine heads stood upright, reaching a staggering height of 20 meters!

It leaned forward, looking at the people before it. "Thank you, you've made me even stronger!! As thanks, I'm going to savor every bite of you!!"

"Alright! Wait for my return!"

Ming spread his wings of lightning, soaring into the sky, and gently placed the girl into Christina's care. "Lend me your pair of knives," he said.

"Here!" The woman handed over the knives.

A weak Digennaro also raised her pair of knives, "You can take mine too."

Punicov stepped forward, pulling out his own blade, and the severely wounded around them likewise offered their swords!

Alice held out her rapier, "If you don't mind, you can use mine too."

Ming wrapped up the nine chosen knives, slinging them over his back, and rejected Alice's offer, "No, yours is too small~"

"..."

"I'm off."

With that, he pivoted and vaulted into the air. Like a bolt of blue-purple lightning, he hopped between the buildings.

By now, the first light of dawn was appearing, golden radiance spilling over the ravaged city streets, lending them a hint of vitality.

Confronting the Orochi, Ming turned to David behind him, "Its water defense is up to you!"

"I'm out of sand, but I can use soil!"

"Don't be so stingy, I'm giving you sand, so make damn good use of it!"

"You brought sand? Don't worry, even if it costs me my life, I'll take this thing down with me!"

David smirked, standing to Ming's left, and behind them were dozens of earth-elemental mages.

"Charge!!!"

Ming raised his arms and roared, the dozens of spirit cuffs shining brightly, gold flowing away like a river.

"Sandstorm!!"

Whoosh!!

Whoosh, whoosh!!

In the cover of night, a wild wind rose. People stationed in various corners of the city looked up, seeing the warm light vanish, replaced by a massive wave of earth-colored sand and wind.

Tap~ Tap~

Grains of sand struck the city's glass windows, pattering like a hail of bullets, causing intricate cracks to spiderweb across the glass. The Orochi pivoted to face the encroaching sandstorm which promptly swallowed it whole.

"If I die!"

David laughed at Ming, "Please take care of my wife, tell her that her man was incredibly brave!"

With that, he plunged into the sandstorm, followed closely by dozens of earth-element mages, laughing and swearing:

"Lucky bastard, having a wife!"

"One of us has to survive, to tell the others how awesome we were!"

"Charge!"

"Heh~"

Ming chuckled lightly, "Did you really think I didn't have a trump card?"

As his words fell, he rushed into the sandstorm. Through the building's window, three women looked out at the overwhelming sand.

Waiting.

"Gutman, such a strange man. I thought he was just a greedy miser, but..."

Christina's words trailed off there.

Leaning against a wall to keep from collapsing, Alice responded, "Yeah, because he is Gutman, heh heh~"

Who would know, he's actually Ming?

Only I.

Digennaro sat huddled against the wall, her head down, eyes shut, tears streaming down, "My eyes just hurt, nothing else."

After an eternity, the sandstorm dissipated. A roar echoed once again as the Orochi emerged, its nine heads sweeping across the streets. Its water defense had been obliterated, and its body ballooned once more, the nine heads towering at a height of 30 meters!

On the street, there stood a lone man, blood staining his white coat, with no other figures in sight, not even a single corpse.

"Heh~"

The Orochi stared at the diminutive human before it, "Now, in my ultimate form, do you dare to challenge me?"

"You're quite tall."

Ming looked up, pulling out his chainsaw, "Let me help you trim down a bit, so I won't strain my neck talking to you."

"With just you!"

The Orochi sneered.

Whiz, whiz, whiz!!

Above, the sky echoed with whistles as one shell after another plummeted down.

Ming shook both arms, triggering Golden Bell guard

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Shells ripped through the streets, precision-guided missiles struck between the serpent heads, and two armed helicopters opened fire with four heavy Gatling guns.

Orochi's Regular Defense -30000!

"Kill!"

Ming stomped the ground, wielding his chainsaw, as he sprinted forward.

Splash!!

The Orochi's nine jaws gaped open, spewing a flood of venomous soup that roared toward the man in its path, intending to engulf him whole.

Ming, mid-stride, activated his psychic wings, soaring upwards to weave through the spaces between the serpent's necks. Here, the Orochi's nine heads couldn't exert their full strength and even impeded each other. He brandished his chainsaw!

Simultaneously, he tossed Lopene to collect money, swiftly storing it in a spatial pocket once collected. While slicing away, he distributed broken bowls and prescriptions, his left hand bolstered by immense strength. Every slash saw the defense reduced by -3000.

Inside a building, David struggled to stand, leaning against a window, watching the epic confrontation between their leader and the Orochi. Turning to the incapacitated individuals sprawled across the floor, he said, "Don't worry, I'll narrate everything I see. It's going to be thrilling! Damn, our leader is awesome!"

On the other side, nearly a hundred people armed with an array of weapons emerged from various corners of the streets, surrounding the tail end of the Orochi. They simultaneously hoisted their weapons, looking at the man gripping an enormous blade.

"3, 2, 1!"

Mike counted down, "Strike!"

Whoosh!

All at once, a hundred weapons rained down on the serpent's tail, shattering the Orochi's regular defense!

[The puppet Lopene looks at you, out of money, kill!]

[…]

"Alright~"

Encased within the Golden Bell Guard, Ming danced amidst the necks of the Orochi, untouched by its flailing attacks. He sawed at the neck of a head, severing it, and the head fell to the ground, still attached to the neck!

Next one!

"Heh heh~"

The Orochi sneered, "You can't kill me!"

From the severed neck sprouted a new head, identical to the other eight.

"Is that so?"

As Ming spoke, he moved between the Orochi's nine necks with his chainsaw. The rapidly spinning blades of the saw shredded the flesh of its neck into a pulp! He lopped it off with a single swipe!

"Now's the time!"

Ming threw out Raoul, pulling out a talent card from his pocket. Raoul roared, sprouting four arms, and ascended from a five-star Emperor level to an epic level!

"Grab the knives!"

Ming shouted, shaking out nine knives.

Raoul gripped six, and Ming himself activated a third hand to hold the remaining three.

"Strike!!"

Crack!!

All nine necks were severed in unison!

The Orochi's nine heads plummeted to the ground with a resounding crash. Opening its mouth, it began, "You..."

Hum, hum!!

Pillars of light soared into the sky!
