Chapter 132: Can You Accept It
The man was so angry that he threw the steamed bun at the person who was in charge of distributing food. It hit the person right in his face!
Normally, only people without special abilities would be assigned such work. Obviously, the man was aware of this and knew that the food distributor could easily be bullied.
He did not stop harassing him and slapped the food distributor’s hand that was holding a big bag of steamed buns.
The bag fell to the ground.
Then, he shouted, “If I’m not fed well, how will I have the energy to work? I might as well go and live in the outside world! Why should I suffer here?!”
The people around were all silent. These incidents often occurred. It was inevitable. Obviously, people who did not get enough to eat would be angry.
After rubbing his slightly painful nose, the food distributor said in a friendly tone, “Sir, we have rules here. We’re doing our best to provide food for everyone.”
“I’m doing all the heavy lifting. Tell me, how is that fair?! Hey everyone, with our abilities, we can form a group and get out of here. I’m sure there’s more food outside than what they’re giving us here. Don’t you want to eat?”
The more the man spoke, the more resentful he became. He kicked the bag of buns to the side and looked for another food cart. When he found one, he began walking towards it.
Naturally, the food distributor could not let this happen. The others had eaten buns yesterday. Today, they would be provided with something different. It would be unfair otherwise.
However, the food distributor could not stop the man. He said helplessly, “If you continue to act like this, I will report you. Someone else will come and deal with you.”
The man did not care. He sneered, “What a good lackey! Only someone like you without special abilities would submit to others so easily. There are some things that you will never get if you don’t fight for them. The strong will always prey on the weak, and that will never change.”
Once he finished speaking, the man rummaged through the food cart. There were lunch boxes and instant noodles inside.
The man immediately took out a box.
People began to grumble and the dissatisfaction on their faces was clearly shown. Something like this was totally against the rules!
The food distributor tried to stop the man, but he was punched instead. He fell to the ground and trembled from the pain.
Nobody helped him. In fact, they snickered at him.
When the security guard that was escorting Li Ran saw this scene, he said regretfully, “Another person who thinks he’s capable.”
After saying that, he went directly to the man. The security guard grabbed the lunchbox and placed it back in the food cart.
Then, he glanced at the surrounding people.
Once the security guard appeared, the man immediately lost all his courage!
He frowned and said disdainfully, “Do you think that you’re strong just because you’re a security guard? I’m one of the top ten contributors to this place! Yet, you guys are only feeding me steamed buns and pickled vegetables?! Tell me, does this make sense to you?”
The security guard merely smiled. He signaled for another person to continue distributing the food. As for the food distributor who got injured by the man, he was carried away.
Once everything was done, the security guard looked at the man and asked, “Can you calm down and just follow the rules?”
“I’m very calm, and I have been following the rules.”
The security guard rephrased himself, ”
What I’m saying is, are you willing to eat the steamed buns and pickled vegetables?”
“No!”
The man’s eyes widened!
If he backed off now, everyone would label him as a coward!
He refused to let that happen!
“Are you sure?”
“Can you stop spouting so much nonsense?”
Suddenly, the security guard bowed apologetically!
