Chapter 126: Sitting on the Mountain Is Not Good
When Li Ran’s group arrived at the entrance of the villa, the door was open.
The first thing they saw was a flowerbed fountain.
There was a small garden on the left. The flowers had already withered, leaving behind shriveled branches.
Additionally, there was an iron cage. It was huge. They could also vaguely see some cat toys that were placed outside the cage.
In the cage, there were a total of ten cats and four dogs. The animals could barely fit inside. Two cats were squeezed in a corner and could not even move. Meanwhile, the other eight cats were lying on the dogs.

There was a fruit platter on the table. The platter was only filled with watermelons.

Lin Nan looked at the gorgeous woman. Her tight dress made her look even sexier.
However, he did not let his guard down and asked, “Did a woman pass by here?”

“Are you acquaintances? The woman said that she wanted to borrow the bathroom. Since I have water here, I offered to let her take a bath.”
“A bath? Is there no water shortage here?”
Li Ran could not help but ask.
After all, very few places still had water. Ever since the apocalypse, there was no one working to supply water. Naturally, water was scarce.
“Oh, we dug a well ourselves. It’s underground water.”
The woman was very pleased about this. Thanks to the well, she was able to survive up till now. Her gaze landed on Li Ran and she asked, “Do you want to take a bath as well? Perhaps something to drink? Why don’t you come in first?”
Li Ran looked at Lin Nan and Wang Gang. She definitely did not need it.
As for Lin Nan, he still had the experimental drug on his hand, so he could not come in contact with water.
Wang Gang rejected, “I don’t need a bath. I’m used to it.”
He added, “Tell her to come out quickly. We still have to continue our journey.”
The gorgeous woman was quite easy to talk to. She immediately nodded and asked them to wait for a moment before entering the house.
It almost seemed like she was not living in an apocalypse.
Wang Gang’s intuition told him that this woman was not simple.
However, when Lin Hua came out with fresh clothes, he doubted himself.
When Lin Hua saw them, she felt guilty.
“You guys really don’t want to take a bath? This place is fantastic! They had their own water and electric supply. I almost feel like I’m living a normal life again.”
Lin Hua then looked at the gorgeous woman gratefully. She hugged her and said, “Thank you. Not only are you beautiful, but you’re kind-hearted too.”
The gorgeous woman covered her mouth and laughed when she heard the compliment. She really was charming.
Li Ran said with a smile, “There’s a safety base not far from here. You can come with us if you’d like. Your place is wonderful, it won’t last.”
Li Ran’s words were a little harsh. It was obviously unwise to say something like this.
The atmosphere instantly changed. Even Lin Hua’s felt awkward. She glanced at the gorgeous woman.
