Chapter 107: A Car
“Look, there’s a car over there!”
Someone suddenly shouted excitedly.
Everyone turned their heads!
They all ran towards the car. If they were slow, all the seats would be taken.
The middle-aged man was a little fat. He had a lot of social engagements so he drank all year round. That was, of course, before the apocalypse. He had a rather prominent belly. After running for a while, he got tired. Then, he shouted, “We’ll all get into the car. Can you people stop being so anxious?”
Unfortunately, no one paid any attention to him.
The middle-aged man was a manager. Among the eight people, three of them used to be his employees.

He shouted back loudly, “Why should I think about others? Will they think about me? Anyone can easily betray you!”
Then, he ran even faster.
The middle-aged man stared at him with his mouth agape. His eyes were filled with anger, but there was nothing he could do. None of them had any intention of stopping and waiting for him.
In the end, he gave up and looked at the seven people surrounding the car.
Seeing that they could not enter, the middle-aged man guessed that the car was locked. It made him very happy.
Wang Gang was awakened by the noise. He saw the people outside. They stared at each other and Wang Gang could see the greed in their eyes.
The people outside did not expect anyone to be in the car. Moreover, there was more than one person.
Without wasting any time, the young man knocked on the window. He wanted to say something, but the people inside the car just waved at him.
Wang Gang also pointed at the place where the car keys should be inserted, indicating that they did not have the keys.
The young man understood, but he still tried to talk to them.
However, the people inside were very cautious and ignored him. It was especially true for Zhao Ying and her family. They were weak in battle, so they needed to protect themselves by all means. Unnecessary trouble was unwelcomed.
Lin Hua did not even bother herself with the people outside. To her, men were disgusting! There were only a few good men that she could tolerate, like those in the car with her.
Wang Gang frowned as he looked at them. He wanted to get out of the car, but he did not have the keys to open the door. All he could do was shrug his shoulders.
The people outside tried for a long time, but those in the car refused to further communicate with them. Nonetheless, they were unwilling to leave.
Other than Li Ran and Yang Shao, this was the first time that they had met anyone new in a long time.
Suddenly, the employee turned his head and looked at the young man. He asked curiously, “Why are they here? They could have been anywhere else.”
“I don’t know, but I think they want to go to the basement. They’re most likely grouped with the other two that we had encountered earlier. ”
Another person looked behind worriedly. If he had known that Li Ran and Yang Shao had the car keys, he would have dragged them out no matter what!
The more he thought about it, the more he regretted it!
“What should we do if they don’t come out?”
The young man closed his eyes and had a relaxed expression on his face.
“Don’t worry, they will. If they don’t, the people in the car won’t be able to leave either.”
“What if they lie to us? What if they have keys after all?”
