Chapter 106: Powerless to Save the Day
The woman watched in despair as her husband was bitten by the pack of rats. His body was covered with bruises. He rolled on the ground while crying in pain.
There was nothing the woman could do. She was petrified. Her hand was still grabbing Li Ran’s arm.
It was not long before the man lay motionless on the ground. At the same time, the woman lost all her strength. She let go of Li Ran’s arm and slumped onto the ground.
