Since early morning Irina started to work on on my pants and the backpack. Boris soon after left to check out the real estate around, and the rest of the gang joined forces with two Bulgarians to hunt. In the meantime, I waited for an opportunity to use the device. It was occupied for a long time, but I learned that it's a normal occurrence these days.

I wanted to just buy some food, but I ended doing something, that I should actually have done yesterday. I checked my status. My ribs were fractured, and my left arm was broken. I'm not gonna write about minor things, but I was in terrible condition.

I bought easy to chew food, mainly avocados, and sat under one of the walls of the buildings. Maurício, one of Nacho's boys, was looking at me the entire time as I was using the device. He was smiling. I wanted to punch him, but I couldn't. freew ebnovel.com

I filled my stomach and waited for Irina to end her work. She was quick and definitely skilled with a needle. I had fun observing her. Afternoon Boris came back with news of a place that was suitable for their new home, but after he ate, he went again to look, with hopes to find something even nicer. I waited for an hour, or maybe two more, and then Irina finally finished. Her work was great. I wanted to buy her something nice for that, but all she wanted was that bone needle and little shell, to cover her thumb while sewing.

On top of that, she helped me immobilize my hand with some scavenged pieces of wood, and cloth leftovers. Then I filled my new backpack with as much food as possible. As I was about to depart, Irina came by.

- I'll walk with you a bit - she said while looking at few guys.

They were staring at me. Or rather I should say they were staring at my food.

- Yeah, that's a good idea. Thank you.

She just gave me a nod, and we departed. We walked together for over an hour. I wanted to repay her somehow, so I kept asking about sewing, and Boris. To be honest, I wasn't interested in both of those topics, but I wanted her to talk and take over the conversation. People like to talk. She was no different. When I showed interest, she just talked and talked. I listened, agreeing when I was supposed to, and asking for an explanation, to keep the conversation going at the right points.

Then we parted our ways. She went back, and I kept going further and further. In the beginning, I wanted to hide in my old hideout, but instead, I went to find that place I slept one night ago. It took me a long time, but I managed to do so.

It was grey outside. The night was approaching. Even though I did a bit of work on that place. Moved few things, cleaned up a bit, and prepared a place for sleeping. I had to push through the pain to do it, but in the end, I deemed it as worth. The next thing I did was a dinner. I filled my stomach with some fruits. After that, I went to sleep. f(r)eewebn(o)vel.com
