It took several hours for Nacho to finally give up, and go switch with somebody else. I took that opportunity. Gathered my equipment and just bolted straight to the woods. I'm not sure if they pursued me or not.

It was still dark when I found myself outside the walls. I could feel a bit of excitement and fear. Even though I kept pushing forward. I went left diagonally, gradually getting deeper into the woods, but mainly heading to the side. I wanted to stay out of the main path hunters took every day while hunting.

I walked for hours, not getting too deep inside the forest. It started to get brighter when I finally decided to go and hunt.

After a bit of walking, I found my first group of four. I was feeling confident and full of energy, so instead of an ambush, I just went straight at them. The fight was quick. I could easily read their movements, and taking advantage of my long reach, combined with a shield, took them down in a couple of moves.

Four crystals ended up in my backpack. I had to eat something to make the space for them, though. So after a bit of a break, I continued on my path. Some time passed and I encountered yet another group. This time bigger. Six green ones. One bowman, one with a spear, the rest had usual sticks. Normally I would never go after them, but for some reason, I felt confident. Or maybe was this because of apathy triggered by everything that happened yesterday? fr eewebn ovel.com

I started to trust Will somewhat. He grew on me. Now I just hated him. He was the sole reason everything in my shitty life went even deeper inside this pile of crap I found myself in.

I sneaked as close as I could and crouched under a tree waiting for them to close the distance. It took some time, but I could take one of them down instantly. Then I charged at the bowman, blocking one of his arrows with my shield. One swing and he was dead. The third one I took down as soon as he got himself in my range. The next one was a bit tricky, because of the spear, but I managed to push his weapon to the side, and down, so I could step on it. All that while blocking the remaining two, utilizing the shield. After that, It was a piece of cake. Few blocks, few strong hits, and I was reacher by 6 crystals.

I collected them and took another break to fill my stomach somewhat. During the fight, I, unfortunately, completely lost a sense of direction. I couldn't ascertain where I came from or was supposed to head. It took me a while to backtrack my own steps and finally be on my way. It was at least an hour after midday by then.

There was still plenty of time until the sun was about to start heading down, so I continued. I could feel exhaustion starting to build up, but it was too early to start getting closer to the city walls. That's where I planned to sleep. My logic was simple. Since goblins don't go close to the city, it should be safe next to the walls.

I got another two groups by the end of the day, for a total of 7 crystals. Then I finally started to head to my future campsite. I knew there is no way of making fire or something like a hut. I lacked tools, and constructions, or light, could make my position more noticeable. That's something I could not risk now.

It was getting dark when I finally saw the city walls. I broke a few small branches with a lot of leaves on them, and young trees, and gathered it all, to move to a place where I was about to camp. I piled them up for very primitive bedding. Then I ate two oranges and went to sleep. I was so tired, that falling asleep wasn't a problem. I drifted away while thinking about my situation, doubting if I could get away from this whole mess.

Day ended with 808 points on my account and 17 crystals in my backpack.
