Chapter 478: Rampage!

Translator: Sparrow Translations Editor: Sparrow Translations

With a thunderous boom, Fish Ball was tossed skywards as his body somersaulted in the air.

Meanwhile, the vibrating Noodle grabbed on to Rice Cake as he returned to his feet steadily.

A newfound clarity flashed across Noodle’s eyes, “I finally recall!”

With a grimace stretched across his face, Fish Ball replied, “What did you finally remember?”

“I’m no ordinary husky.”

Fish Ball instantly collapsed to the ground, cackling in laughter.

However, Noodle was absolutely unfazed by Fish Ball’s response. Instead, he continued coolly, “My dream is to change the world.”

The smile continued tugging at Fish Ball’s lips as he sneered, “What a wonderful dream!”

“Rice Cake! Are you acknowledging me for who I truly am?” Tears shrouded his eyes as he stared intently at the cat who truly understood him, “I can feel the sadness sprouting within you. From today onwards, I’ll name you the ultimate sorrow. Follow me. Together, we’ll experience the pains of the world in its truest and most untainted form. We will continue to revolutionize the world!”

Following his epic speech, Noodle realized that he was no longer affected by the vibrations even though Rice Cake continued to emit the buzzing from her non-stop shaking. Somehow, he was impervious to its effects.

“Pain my ass!” Fish Ball shot him down, “The only thing that happened was someone caught you eating ... curry. And you looked thrilled to be eating it!”

Noodle’s eyes stretched wide open as those condescending words rang in his head. He responded by shooting Fish Ball a death glare.

Currently, Noodle’s mental state was in a flux and it could be attributed to a multitude of reasons. Firstly, it was all the unfortunate events that befell him which resulted in extreme emotional changes. Next, Rice Cake’s non-stop vibration had somehow led to a concussion of some sorts. Hence, his originally stabilized consciousness was struck with some very unique changes.

Now, Noodle was no longer capable of reining in his own emotions, rendering him impulsive and irritable.

Hence, he responded to those disdainful words by sprinting forward and hurling Rice Cake in Fish Ball’s direction.

Bam!

However, it completely missed the target and landed straight on the ground. Maybe it’s because this was his first attempt at the ultimate sorrow, or maybe his dog paws were simply not nimble and steady enough.

Following Rice Cake’s crash, the horrendous vibrations had slammed straight onto the ground. It was as if the floor had been washed by a meteorite shower, with the point of contact as the epicenter. Gigantic waves emerged, leaving a one-meter-deep crater behind.

Fish Ball, who was hurled in the air by the vibration, struggled to regain his footing as he stared in disbelief at Noodle and Rice Cake, who was resting in his paws.

Suddenly, his eyes turned bloodshot as he shot Fish Ball a death glare. Immediately, he pounced forward while the ultimate sorrow continued to emit a soft yet heart wrenching cry, “I ... want ... my ... internet.”

Fish Ball’s fur stood on all ends as he witnessed this unexpected turn of events. He had no choice but to emit a blinding light from his body.

Instantly, the sky was flooded by Fish Ball’s dazzling rays. Fish Ball was like a living flash bomb. This took Noodle by surprise as he let out an ear-splitting shriek. Meanwhile, Fish Ball turned around and ran away with all his remaining strength.

With the illuminated Fish Ball leading the pack, Noodle was hot on his heels with Rice Cake cradled in his arms. Fish Ball had no choice but to traverse across the convoluted terrain. He hoped the dense forest would be enough to lose his pursuers.

However, Rice Cake was simply too strong. Anything which came into contact with her was vaporized to piece be it the trees, the scrubs or even the granite rocks. Nothing could stand up against it.

“D*mn it!” Fish Ball was barely able to breathe when he swept his head around to this incredulous scene, “Noodle! Just wait! Xiao Yu is gonna kill you when she hears about it!”

“Hahaha, Xiao Yu will die the moment she arrives.” With Rice Cake resting in his paws, Noodle threw his arm forward, slicing the huge tree before him into two.

By now, he had realized the two components to Rice Cake’s power. The first vibration could directly vaporize the intended target. The other vibration could create an unprecedented slicing force. It was as good as a high-frequency blade.

Despite Rice Cake’s overwhelming strength, Noodle still failed to seal his win. Fish Ball was simply too white to the extent that Noodle couldn’t even make out his body with his naked eye. His swipes could only be targeted in a general location. After hours of relentless search, he still couldn’t catch up to Fish Ball. Instead, he had destroyed the forest. Fallen trees desecrated the grounds.

In response to Noodle’s words, Fish Ball yelled, “Zhao Yao will never let you off!”

“Even Zhao Yao cannot do a single thing against us.” This was followed up by another powerful smash which sent shockwaves sweeping across the ground, “The husky will never be a man’s slave!”

...

Inside one of the cottages belonging to the plantation department, department head, Carrot, was lazing on a cushion as a line etched between his brows. He commented, “Why is that Fish Ball so bloody slow? What’s so difficult about getting that silly dog over?”

Hearing Carrot’s baseless accusations, one female cat immediately jumped to his defense, “How can you push all the blame to our Fish Ball? You can only blame that stupid dog for his tardiness! He is the one pulling our dear Fish Ball behind.”

Another female cat chimed along, “Yes. Our dear Fish Ball accompanied us the entire day. I bet he is exhausted. You should never have sent him out on such an exhausting mission.”

“Why isn’t Master Fish Ball back yet? Don’t tell me something happened to him! Carrot, get out now and find him!”

“Tsk,” Carrot could feel the anger raging within him when those senseless cries rang in his head, “Fish Ball, that disgusting gigolo.” In his mind, he had decided to leave the toughest job for him when he returned.

“Hmph, you’ll spend the rest of your time toiling in the fields. You will be filthy and smelly and will have no time to clean your fur. Your white fur would turn black in a matter of days. Let’s see how you can continue chasing those stupid girls.”

While Carrot remained engrossed in his own thoughts, the doors swung open with a loud slam as Fish Ball collapsed to the ground. He was gasping for breath as he warned them, “Bad... something bad is happening!”

Carrot retorted, “Fish Ball, what the hell are you doing, acting all panicky! Do you even know the rules?”

Fish Ball cut Carrot’s statement short by shouting, “The husky is on his way here to kill us!”

“What?” Immediately, a sea of confused eyes stared back at Fish Ball.

However, they understood Fish Ball’s words moments later.

With a loud boom, Noodle appeared as the wall crumbled to the ground. He sauntered forward as he surveyed the members of the plantation department. A devious smile stretched across his face as he declared, “Good, good, good. Since you’re all here, it saves me the trouble of locating all of you. Previously, didn’t all of you look down on me? Now, I’ll let you know just how strong a husky is!”

With that, Noodle held on to Rice Cake as he slammed his fist onto the floor. Instantly, the cottage tilted towards one side before the furniture came crashing onto the floor. A cloud of dust rose in the air as the supercats escaped in all directions while simultaneously casting their powers.

With all four feet firmly planted on the ruins, the husky observed the frightened cats before letting out a wolf-like howl.

...

Meanwhile, William was tossed in the air before he came crashing down because of the lightning.

Before even making contact with the ground, tens of fireballs flew in his direction before exploding like hand grenades.

Next, a huge burst of wave emerged from his position as William escaped northwards.

“D*mn it!”

Currently, Cat Sage had not even made his move. Just the six supercats were more than enough for William to handle. Each power was more troublesome and destructive than the other. Even with the help of Zhao Yao’s deflective field, William could barely defend himself from the deluge of attacks.

William had never expected number 0 to amass so many powerful supercats. He even resorted to using the aerolite to enhance their powers.
