1694 Mad Dog
Qiao Mei’s sense of coordination and intelligence level were out of many people’s league. She was thousands of times better than some of the soldiers he knew. Then again, there were also benefits to not being a soldier.

“Who is this person?”

“Do you use your brain before you talk? Why does every person look sleazy in your eyes? Open your useless eyes and take a good look! That person is Xia He’s sister-in-law,” Bai Dian explained resignedly.
“Sister-in-law! What does her sister-in-law do! She can actually drive such a nice car!” a woman behind Bai Dian said in surprise.
“Hmph. If you ask me, it must be her husband who’s capable,” Li Hua said with jealousy.
Bai Dian rolled her eyes at Li Hua and said, “Her sister-in-law is the director of the Osmanthus Food Factory. Recently, she collaborated with the country and accepted a large field for planting test crops. She is bringing glory to the country, but what about you? What have you done with your life?”
Li Hua was so angry that she did not say a word. Her husband was a good-for-nothing! It was already good enough that he did not use her salary to go and gamble! What could they have done!
