At the endpoint of the mission, Wu Mei transferred the drug dealer to the Ministry of Defense and enjoyed the supplies she received for being the first to arrive.
Zhong Ling was munching on two apples as she waved enthusiastically at the new cadets who had just rushed back.

Having found a reason to convince themselves, the new cadets spread the discussion, completely ignoring Zhong Ling’s explanation.
Wu Mei sat calmly in front of the bonfire, wiping her sharp folding knife as if she could not hear their mockery. “Zhong Ling, come here.”
“Ignore them. Isn’t arguing with fools lowering your own intelligence?”
Wu Mei handed the roasted pigeon to Zhong Ling. The fragrance of the roasted pigeon wafted, causing the new cades who were late to watch and gulp.
Feng Yue stared at her coldly, stomping her feet in jealousy and anxiety. She looked towards the assembly point, but there was still no sign of her companion.
