The car stopped at the entrance of the hotel. After Lu Ning checked in with Lu Jingzhi, she went to the room to deposit their luggage before heading out. Lu Ning got into the car again, and they went straight to the competition venue.
The competition started at ten o’clock. When the two of them arrived, it was 9:40 am—they were not late.

Not long after, the bell for the start of the competition rang. The parents around her instantly straightened their backs and tensed up.
