Chapter 502: 501 Exasperated

Xie Ning took a card from her bag and handed it to the salesperson with a cold expression on her face. She snapped, “Swipe it yourself!”

However, the salesperson did not let go. She smiled and said, “Miss, the tag on your clothes hasn’t been taken off yet!”

Only then did Xie Ning recall that this shop did not allow customers to wear and walk away with the clothes after paying. She could only follow the salesperson to the checkout counter to pay the bill.

Chen Nian stood at the side and watched with relish. The corners of her mouth could not help but curl up. She let forth a helpless sigh. Chen Nian would have been able to see everything that had happened if she hadn’t been in the changing room at the time.

Xie Ning left after paying the bill. Her two friends naturally did not want to be seen wandering about here any longer, so they fled as well.

Chen Nian leaned in front of Shen Yan with a gossipy expression when the three people left. “Who is that woman, Yanyan?”

“Xie Ning.”

“Xie Ning? Isn’t she the second daughter of the Xie Family?”

“It’s her.”

“That’s strange. What did you do to offend her?” Chen Nian asked curiously.

Shen Yan smiled and said somewhat helplessly, “I didn’t offend her. She clearly attacked me!”

“Were you guys arguing just now?”

“She lost!”

Chen Nian said with a regretful look, “If I knew there was such a show, I wouldn’t have tried on the clothes first. I would have scolded her along with you!”

Shen Yan smiled and said, “All right, you should hurry up and try on the clothes. There are still ten more sets!”

“All right then!” Chen Nian could only suppress her gossiping heart at bay and walked toward the fitting room step by step. After taking two steps, she paused. She turned back to look at Shen Yan and asked in puzzlement, “That’s not right. We don’t seem to have any interaction with the Xie family. What makes Xie Ning so upset with you?”

Shen Yan raised his eyebrows slightly and shook his head. “I don’t know either. Could it be that she’s envious of me because I’m too good-looking?”

Chen Nian knew that Shen Yan was not saying the truth, but looking at Shen Yan’s face, she couldn’t refute her.

She could only walk toward the fitting room.

Seeing Chen Nian enter the fitting room, Shen Yan lazily sat on the sofa. Xie Ning’s words just now revealed a lot of information.

Shen Yan raised her eyebrows slightly.

Previously, Fu Hang had told her that he was indeed a member of the Fu family.

However, based on what Xie Ning said, it appeared that Fu Hang was related to the Xie family.

It seemed that Fu Hang had a deep relationship with the Xie family.

Shen Yan hadn’t had a chance to play in a long time. Chen Nian dragged her to a KTV later in the evening. It was already 11 o’clock in the evening when she arrived home.

Her phone rang as soon as she got home. She opened it and saw that it was a message from Fu Hang, asking if she had arrived home.

Shen Yan took off her shoes at the front door and entered the living room. She texted back: “Just arrived.”

Fu Hang’s voice call came in as soon as Shen Yan sent the message.

After Shen Yan picked up the call, she tapped on the speaker and toss her phone on the sofa. She turned around and went to the small bar to get a glass of warm water.

“How was your day?”

Shen Yan returned to the sofa. After sipping a mouthful of water, the corners of her lips curled up slightly as she said with a smile, “It was pretty joyful.”

Shen Yan’s eyes flashed a devilish smile at this instant. “I even met someone fascinating.”

“Hm?”

“Her name is Xie Ning,” Shen Yan said as she drank another glass of water.

On the other end of the line, Fu Hang appeared astonished. “Did she come all this way to find you?”

“No, it’s only that we ran into each other in the store when shopping for clothes,” Shen Yan explained, recalling what Xie Ning had said earlier in the day. She smiled and said, “She said something interesting.”

“She’s Xie Ran’s sister,” Fu Hang said on the other end of the phone.

“Hm?” Shen Yan raised her eyebrows slightly and shook the glass in her hand with great interest.

“This matter is a little complicated. Why don’t I go back and tell you about it?”

“Sure.” The corners of Shen Yan’s lips curled up slightly. This seemed to be a pretty tricky situation. Some things are difficult to convey in a few words. Moreover, she was not in a hurry and asked casually, “Are you coming back this weekend?”
