“Aren’t you hungry?” Fu Hang raised his eyes and looked at Shen Yan.
The two of them did not speak. Then, Fu Hang fed her the soup while she ate it silently. Silence ensued in the ward.
Meanwhile, Chen Nian stood outside the door of the ward. Her expression darkened when she saw the scene inside.
Before, she had stayed in the same room with Shen Yan. Yet, she was woken up by Shen Yan’s sleep talking in the middle of the night.
“Fu Hang, run!”
“Fu Hang, don’t come back for me!”
“Please, don’t bother about me anymore. Go and escape!” “Fu Hang, d-don’t… Fu Hang!”
“Fu Hang, you aren’t going to die! Where’s the doctor?”
Chen Nian thought that Shen Yan might have forgotten about Fu hang a long time ago. But she realized that Shen Yan was just suppressing her feelings after listening to her sleep talk. Shen Yan only knew it was sensible for her to not interact with Fu Hang. Thinking of this, Chen Nian sighed. Shen then turned around and walked out.
Shen Yan stayed in the hospital for three days. In fact, she could be discharged on her second day, but Fu Hang wouldn’t let her leave the hospital no matter what. He insisted that she needed to stay in the hospital for another two days of observation.

Lu Yanknew clearly that Fu Hang would always take priority in Shen Yan’s heart. No matter how hard hr tried, he wouldn’t be able to occupy a place in Shen Yan’s heart. Just then, the nurse who came to check on the ward noticed Lu Yan and could not help but ask, “Sir, who are you looking for?”
The nurse’s voice made Lu Yan retract a step back in uncertainty. He did not want Shen Yan to see him like this, so he turned around and walked away. Shen Yan heard the commotion outside and turned to look, but she did not see anything at the door except for the nurse.
The nurse watched as the man turned around and left. Looking at his back, she felt that he looked somewhat familiar.
Lu Yan walked outside. It was still snowing outside, but the snow was much lighter than when he arrived.
Right then, he walked to a bench and sat down. His phone began to vibrate non-stop. He glanced at the caller ID and hung the call in frustration.
Then, Lu Yan took out a cigarette and lowered his head to light it up. He knew that Shen Yan did not like the smell of cigarettes. Therefore, Lu Yan had not smoked for months when he was meeting Shen Yan.
He had rushed here after finishing his high-intensity mission. Lu Yan usually appeared neat and tidy, but there was some stubble on his face now, and he looked extremely lethargic.
Many passersby that saw Lu Yan thought that he had encountered something difficult upon looking at his disheveled appearance. After all, it was very normal to encounter difficulties in the hospital.
When Tong Guang came over with breakfast, he saw Lu Yan sitting in the snow. Lu Yan’s entire body was covered in snow, and there was even a thin layer of snow on his head.
