313 Ch. 313 Still Craving For Pizza

Anxia didn’t like to eat pizza, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t eat one. One slice of pizza was enough for her, and she preferred other dish menus in case she was still hungry. Only last night did she crave pizzas for some unknown reason.

“Could it be... are you pregnant?”

Even though she admitted she was craving pizza, that doesn’t mean she’s pregnant, does it? After all... she couldn’t... she could never get pregnant again in this lifetime.

Anxia turned to Richard, and her husband’s expression was unchanging when the man heard Meisya’s assumption. Just like her, Richard also believed that Anxia wasn’t pregnant.

Anxia’s sudden change in appetite was strange, but they firmly believed that this change was not due to her pregnancy. Both of them knew that Anxia’s chances of conceiving were minimal, considering there was a defect in her uterus. Even after waiting a year, there was still no sign of pregnancy, even though they had put effort into improving Anxia’s state.

They had accepted this fact for a long time and were content with having two children like Elliot and Lori―one son and one daughter to make their married life perfect.

What could they ask for more? They didn’t expect a third or subsequent child, so they thought Anxia’s changing appetite was just a coincidence.

“Anxia, ??are you going to check it?” Meisya asked, hopefully, because she wanted to hold a newborn baby again.

Meisya had never held Richard’s children when they were tiny babies and could not speak yet. Lori appeared out of the blue just as the girl was fluent in speech, and Elliot appeared three years later. At least she wanted to see Richard’s newborn baby with her own eyes.

.....

Meisya wanted to hold her grandkid from Richard and to hear for herself the first words that came out of the baby and the first steps when her grandkid was learning to walk.

Meisya couldn’t get it from Eugene because the boy lived with his parents in the united states. Raymond did offer her and Stanley to live with him in the states long before Richard married Anxia. But Germany was her home, and Holland was her dwelling; she considered Europe her birthplace. Hence, Meisya didn’t want to stay on the other continent.

As for Stanley, he was okay with living anywhere as long as he was with his wife.

Now they live at Richard’s house in London, and it seemed like Anxia was expecting―Meisya couldn’t wait for the birth of her new grandkid. She could have just waited for Harmonie to marry Andrew, considering the man had proposed several months ago. But it was still too long to wait for them.

Therefore, when she thought that Anxia was having cravings and undergoing the symptoms of nausea experienced by pregnant women, Meisya’s hopes soared.

Richard realized his mother’s high hopes and could not bear to crush them. However, sooner or later, they would discover that Anxia could no longer get pregnant.

“No, mom. It looks like her digestion is just disturbed. It’s her first time eaten that much like last night.” Richard’s teasing made Anxia put on a sullen face.

“So you’re saying I’ve become greedy?”

“I didn’t say it like that, ” countered Richard, pinching his wife’s nose with exasperation.

Stanley raised an eyebrow in wonder. Usually, normal married couples will also hope when they hear about the possibility of their wife being pregnant. But why did his son and daughter-in-law act indifferently as if they were confident that Anxia wasn’t pregnant?

Something’s wrong. Stanley thought to himself. But he ignored it and turned his wife’s attention by shifting the discussion.

Perhaps, Richard and Anxia didn’t want another child and weren’t interested in having a third. Well, he wouldn’t be surprised if the two decided not to have more kids.

Even though they could pay for their children’s education even though they had five children, Richard could not always protect all of his children from hidden enemies.

Especially… Aiden Paxton’s son’s whereabouts were still unknown, which was quite worrying. He didn’t know if this person would become an enemy or an insignificant ant.

Because Anxia’s body condition was not good and she was trying to restrain herself from showing her nausea, she decided not to eat breakfast. Richard noticed that his wife had not taken her favorite fish soup and that the girl’s plate and bowl were still empty.

“Do you want some fruit?” Richard’s suggestion earned a nod from Anxia.

Carefully, Richard took a cut of watermelon and placed it on his wife’s plate. Luckily, Anxia could eat it well, and drinking a glass of warm milk relieved her nausea.

A few minutes later, Anxia no longer felt nauseous, and now her face was not as pale as it was a few moments ago.

“Today is Saturday, and the children have holidays. Do you have somewhere to go?”

“Anxia and I are going to visit father-in-law in the hospital. The doctor said there was some movement, and the color of his eyeballs had returned. We are hoping he will wake up soon.”

Stanley nodded understanding and hoped Zhou Yu Hue would soon wake up from his coma. Anxia herself also couldn’t wait to see her father wake up. She wanted to introduce her father to Richard and her two stunning twins.

After finishing breakfast together, Richard and Anxia said goodbye to Stanley and Meisya and kissed their two children on the cheeks before they finally went to the hospital.

“How do you feel now? Still feeling nauseous?”

Anxia shook her head to answer her husband’s question. “Not anymore. Remind me not to eat ten slices of pizza at once.”

Richard chuckled at her request. “As you wish, my queen.”

“But, how strange. Why do I suddenly want to eat that much pizza?” Anxia herself also couldn’t stop thinking about the changes that had happened to her body. “Ah, now I want to eat pizza.” Anxia suddenly voiced her heart out when she saw a picture of a pizza in an Italian restaurant.

“Now?”

“I am hungry.”

“Does it have to be pizza? You just recovered.”

“I just want pizza.”

“Who asked me to remind her not to eat ten slices of pizza?”

“I’m only going to eat one.”

“No. We will stop by to buy―”

“Richie...” Anxia pouted adorably, making Richard speechless.

How could he refuse his wife’s request when her tone of voice became delirious like this?
