99 Xiao Ming
“I thought you weren’t in the dormitory. I’m sorry, did I wake you up?” Yin Tao thought that Bai Luo would stay at the police station to continue working on the case, so she wasn’t careful about opening the door softly.
“It’s fine. I just came back not long ago.” Bai Luo stretched and got out of bed to take a sip of water. “You’re busy with the burial case, right?”
“Yes, I just came back from the autopsy lab. Captain Chen brought the person who reported the case back to the police station. Did you see him?” Yin Tao took off her clothes and placed them in the dirty laundry basket, preparing to take a shower in the bathroom.
“I didn’t see him. Captain Chen handed the case to the other police officers in division two. If the police officers in our team kept up this pace, they would definitely die young.”

Bai Luo lay back on the bed. She especially cherished her rest time now.
“Hurry up and sleep. I’ll take a shower before sleeping.” Yin Tao took her toiletries into the bathroom and turned on the showerhead. As the warm water ran over her body, Yin Tao felt the soreness in her body ease up a little.
If she had not practiced self-defense with Feng Jing for an hour, she might have felt better.
