The revolutionary guard’s 11th brigade 5th armored battalion was now equipped with Russian equipment just like the 6th armored division and was now on the move to the western borders from the camp at Boljak.
The 5th armored battalion’s T-14 Armata tanks had the revolutionary guard’s emblem and a division flag with a black background and red letters flying on top of the turrets. The T-14 Armata tanks with a targeting range of 5km and a maximum range of 8km in an open field entered a narrow valley after mobilizing.
Meanwhile, the 5th revolutionary guard’s infantry division 51st regiment followed the 5th armored battalion 2km behind aboard transport trucks. The revolutionary guard was an infantry division but would use transport trucks to move like a mechanized infantry division.
While the Iranian forces were moving down the narrow valley and closer to the battle between the two nations, the Corean military’s 3rd mechanized infantry company sent in its Spider-II drones to film their movements from 5km above the atmosphere.
The 5th armored battalion also sent in its reconnaissance drones they got from Russia to Maku.

The 5th armored battalion confirmed the 1st revolutionary armored division entering the valley with its Spider-II drones and set up a 2km defensive parameter with its 14 C-23P-M Hyun-mu armored vehicles to prepare for battle.
These tanks were the 4.5th generation Armata T-14 tanks and they were outnumbered, but using the terrain to their advantage, the battalion could hold out long enough for reinforcements to arrive.
“The enemy tanks are 1km away from passing through the reconnaissance platoon’s forward base, sir.”
The drone’s operators alerted the company commander through the radio while transporting footage from the drones.
Due to the forward base being 600m away on the left side, visibility was not too great, but if the enemy tanks moved through the valley, they could be seen with the naked eye. Therefore, the gunners of the 3rd mechanized infantry company all pointed their photon cannons to the entrance of the valley and waited.
Gulp!
The sound of someone gulping nervously came through the 312 armored vehicle’s communication line. It was Sergeant Nam Gang-il, the gunner of the 50mm photon cannon.
“Hey! Sergeant Nam! Are you nervous? Don’t be, just do as we have trained! Our armored vehicle is more than enough to take down these 4th generation tanks. All right?”
There was that battle against the drones last time, but it was the first time the men were entering into battle with their lives at stake. Sergeant First Class Go Gi-jun attempted to ease the tension of his men with a warmer tone than usual.
“Ye- yes, sir.”
That was when two T-14 Armata tanks emerged from the mouth of the valley and deployed their smoke bombs.
Dozens of smoke bombs started going off in the air and soon, brown smoke covered the area. The T-14 Armata tanks at the rear started to pop out and form a horizontal formation.
The revolutionary guard’s armored forces had gone through a month-long training exercise and operated the tanks skillfully.
“Whoa! They’re pretty good, aren’t they?” Sergeant Nam Gang-il, who had already targeted the area the enemy tanks would line up at, complained while manipulating the console’s visual modes.
“Sergeant Nam! You can’t see them?”
“Yes, sir. I am changing our scope’s visual mode to aim again. We’ll have visuals in a moment.”
When the sergeant changed his visual mode to thermo-vision, the LWR (Laser Warning Receiver) started ringing across every single armored vehicle.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
The 12 T-14 Armata tanks had formed a horizontal formation within the smoke and used their infrared lasers to launch the anti-tank missiles at the Hyun-mu armored vehicles. When the LWR (Laser Warning Receiver) alarm started to sound, the company commander’s orders came through the communication line.
-This is the company commander. Everyone, break formations and retreat! Use the nearby terrain for cover!
After hearing the company commander’s orders, the armored vehicles revved up their engines and made evasive maneuvers.
Woosh~ Woosh~ Woosh~ Woosh~
The unmanned turret on top of the T-14 Armata tanks launched their Kornet-M anti-tank missiles from the 2-round MLRS system. 12 rounds of anti-tank missiles started to fly out from the cloud of smoke.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
The 12 rounds of Kornet-M anti-tank missiles flew in an arc and landed on the area the 3rd mechanized infantry company’s armored vehicles were.
Boom! Booooom! Boooooooooom!
The 11 Kornet-M anti-tank missiles emitting white smoke all missed the Corean armored vehicles and landed on the ground. Only the second platoon’s armored vehicle was hit by a single missile on the side. The armored vehicle did not explode but had its wheel destroyed and became immobile.
The T-14 Armata tanks from the revolutionary guard started to emerge from the cloud of smoke to engage the Corean armored vehicles with their 125mm guns after their first wave of missile attacks failed.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
An air-piercing noise of dozens of APFSDS (Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot) started to fly towards the armored vehicles of the 3rd mechanized infantry company.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The APFSDS rounds were disrupted by the powerful SECM (Super Electronic Counter Measures) jamming waves and they all fell behind the armored vehicles.
The 3rd mechanized infantry company’s Hyun-mu armored vehicles that had allowed the enemy to attack twice started to retaliate with their 50mm photon cannons.
Woosh! Woosh! Woosh! Woosh! Woosh! Woosh!
The 14 beams of red light started to fly towards the seven T-14 Armata tanks which were reloading their rounds, and the tanks started to smoke after being hit.
“Yes! One down!” Sergeant Nam Gang-il exclaimed after seeing the turret of the T-14 Armata tank he aimed at fall off.
The war of independence at the Republic of Kurdistan will go down in Middle Eastern history and it began with the battle between Corea’s 3rd mechanized infantry division’s 3rd mechanized infantry company and Iran’s revolutionary guard’s 5th armored battalion.

The Republic of Kurdistan, Haraka, Yukusekoba (the Marine’s 11th mobile brigade)
Yukusekoba was located in the middle of a harsh mountain pass, and Corea’s 11th marine mobile brigade, the most powerful force within the peacekeeping forces, had 160 of its tanks and armored vehicles patrol the harsh mountain passes once a day.
The mountains spread over an area 1000m long and there was a reason a marine mobile brigade was tasked with patrolling the area instead of the mountain infantry forces.
When the 11th marine mobile brigade was founded, the marine command headquarters wanted a mobile brigade that would be able to navigate through any terrain. The Olympus base heard the headquarters’ demands and developed an all-terrain armored vehicle that could operate in harsh mountainous regions and shores.
It was the C-27P-M Kirin marine armored vehicle equipped with the anti-gravity hover system. This armored vehicle was based on the CMV-100 Skybus vertical take-off transport planes and it could rise to 10m above the surface when it used its maximum output. The vehicle was capable of boarding three crewmen and eight armed marines. It had 50mm photon cannons, lower 12mm laser Vulcan, upper 8mm laser Vulcan, 16-round 50mm plasma cluster rockets, and 4-round MLRS (2×2) 40mm GTGAS-40 Black Dragon missiles on both sides of the turret.
The C-27P-M Kirin marine armored vehicle, which could roam across all terrains, was able to hover 1m above the surface and move across the rough southern border of Haraka.

As four C-27P-M Kirin marine armored vehicles under the 111th marine mobile battalion’s 5th company 1st reconnaissance platoon floated 5m above the surface along the southern borders at Haraka, the battalion headquarters came on the radio.
A large number of armed forces have been detected along the southern border, and the battalion’s headquarters wanted the 1st platoon to patrol the area and confirm the scans. It appeared that the battalion headquarters used its Spider-II drones to survey the area and wanted the 1st reconnaissance platoon which was nearby to confirm what their drones saw.
The 1st platoon’s 511 armored vehicle commander Lieutenant Kim Gyu-hwan relayed the orders to the 512 vehicle that had been patrolling the most southern region of the border.

Sergeant First Class Yang Jung-suk fixed his helmet after speaking to the vehicle commander of vehicle 512 and checked the map on the display.
Sergeant Kim Ki-dong, the arms man of the vehicle, spoke to Sergeant First Class Yang, “Commander! Should I send in the SI-Q, sir?”
“No! They want us to see for ourselves. Corporal Park!”
“Yes, commander!”
“Maintain our altitude and move to sector 5-21.”
“Yes, sir.”
When Corporal Park Byung-woo, the driver of the vehicle, pulled the lever, the C-27P-M Kirin marine armored vehicle started to float higher before flying off to its destination. The armored vehicle weighed 30 tons, but it floated and glided through the air like a plane.
The 512 armored vehicle moved at 120km/h and arrived at its destination in a few minutes.
“Whoa, it’s like watching a colony of ants,” Sergeant Kim Ki-dong spoke after seeing the Iranian infantry move along the mountain pass.
“What? You wanna just shoot them all with the laser Vulcan?” Sergeant First Class Yang Jung-suk teased him.
“Sir! How could you be so savage?”
“Savage my ass! This is war, sergeant. We are at war! Hey! Corporal Park...”
“Yes, commander!”
“Let’s go a bit closer!”
“Yes, sir.”
“What? Commander! We might get hit by enemy missiles if we do,” shocked, Sergeant Kim Ki-dong tried to stop him.
Sergeant First Class Yang Jung-suk smiled. “Of course, we will approach them with our TCS mode on!”
“If we get too close, wouldn’t they notice us by our noise and the warped surroundings? If they launch missiles...”
“Missiles my ass! Even if they have any it will be those second-generation portable ones! Now that I think about it, it is kind of funny.”
“What is, sir?”
“The Iranians over there. If they discover us, would they use anti-tank rounds? Or would they use anti-air missiles? They’re going to have to think about it, wouldn’t they? Hahaha.”
“He he he, I guess you have a point, sir.”
While the crew aboard the 512 armored vehicle spoke to each other, the driver activated the TCS mode and headed towards the Iranian infantry.
