Hennessy’s Apparitions chased after Siegfried as he ran on the pyramid walls.
‘I need to shake them off and isolate the cocoon with Grand Duel. Then, I’ll throw everything I got at it. Death’s Touch, Quick Draw, and finish it with Torrential Flower Rain.’ Siegfried formulated a plan in his head while running along the walls of the pyramid.
The monsters chasing after him would no longer be an issue if he managed to use Grand Duel on the cocoon, right?
‘Almost there!’ Siegfried ran as fast as he could toward the top of the pyramid where Hennessy was located.
‘I can almost use Grand Duel just a bit–’
It was then.

The four Hennessy’s Apparitions suddenly appeared in front of Siegfried and blocked his path.
“W-What?!” Siegfried exclaimed in pure shock. The four Apparitions were definitely chasing after him just a few seconds ago, but they were now standing in front of him. He could not help but wonder if these monsters had used teleport or some similar skill.
He looked back to check and was shocked.
“Stop right there!”
“You’re just an insect! Quit resisting!”
“Haha! Fool!”
“Where do you think you’re going?”
The four apparitions were still chasing after him from behind.
‘Damn it... There were eight of them, to begin with...’ Siegfried grimaced after realizing that he was up against eight monsters from the start. He was already having a hard time against four of them, so fighting eight of them all on his own was without a doubt going to be an impossible challenge.
“Die, you insignificant creature!”

Hennessy’s Apparitions attacked him all at once from all directions.

Siegfried gritted his teeth and swung his +13 Horse Fly as hard as he could, but there was no way he could defeat numerous Level 300 monsters while he was poisoned.
‘Damn it... My body isn’t listening to me...’ Siegfried couldn't land even a single hit on the apparitions and was forced to only defend against their attacks.
However, he was not going to give up.
‘Now that it turned into this... I’ll beat them to death one by one!’ Siegfried clenched his fist and came up with the one and only solution he could think of at the moment.
His plan was to use Grand Duel to kill Hennessy’s Apparitions one at a time, taking advantage of the skill’s effect of instantly going off cooldown upon his victory. Moreover, the skill would also restore his HP[1], Mana, and Stamina upon victory.
If he used Grand Duel on Hennessy’s Apparitions and killed them one by one, he might still have some time left to destroy the cocoon before the boss monster awakened.

“Do you think this cheap trick will work on me?!” Hennesy’s Apparition shouted in anger.
“Let’s go on a lovely date together, shall we?!” Siegfried retorted with a hint of annoyance in his voice.
“W-What?!”
“The others are waiting for you, so let’s hurry up and finish this!”
“I thought this was a date?! How can you think of others while you’re on a date with me–”
It was then.
‘What the fuck is this crazy bastard saying?’ Hennesy’s Apparition realized that it got distracted by Siegfried’s nonsense, but it was too late.

Thousands of projectiles flew like a beautiful flower rain within the Barrier of Victory, but the beautiful sight lasted for only a short while as they flew ferociously toward the Hennessy’s Apparition.
The Barrier of Victory looked like a blender grinding something, which in this case was Hennessy’s Apparition.
“T-That’s a bit...” Siegfried grimaced and grumbled at the grotesque sight. He thought he had a pretty strong stomach, but the sight of something getting blended right in front of his eyes made his stomach churn, and he was forced to close his eyes.

The sixth customer had its head disintegrated by the Energy Buster from the Great Champion’s Belt.
Six out of the eight Hennessy’s Apparitions were finally dead...

However, Siegfried didn't stop there. He chewed on another Mutated Three-Legged Octopus and used Grand Duel to kill the remaining two Hennessy’s Apparitions.
Thus, he managed to kill all eight of Hennessy’s Apparitions, showing the terror of the Debuff Master. Yes, he'd gain additional stat and skill points due to his Hidden Class, but what truly made him scary was the efficiency of his skills in combat which could only be described as insane.
On top of that, he had also learned skills from Weapons Master Shakiro, Sword Emperor Betelgeuse, and Grappling Master Leonid. All of these made it possible for him to defeat Level 300 monsters.
However, Siegfried didn't have time to relish in his victory, as he had to rush to the top of the Sun Pyramid.
